well ive got a 1.4 and need the suspension uprating and koni is the only option!yeah post the weblink up mate if ya can!i was going to get them from motorsport world as they are quite good prices!
The cornering aspect sounds brilliant just what i need!
Ryan
i spoke to someone at spax when i was at work about a month ago and he sed although mk2s have the same distance, dont get confused and order these ones as it will not fit!thats what he told me so not sure to believe him or not!
the sport models were the latest mk1s out i think so they may have...
the back should be around 15mm higher than the front!as thats what clios with a torsion bar came out the factory looking like!
Ryan (cant host pictures as uploader wont work)
yeah the gap distance on my phase 3 sport model is definitly 58mm as Darth Oli has sed so get checking!plus if you want uprated shocks either koni or KYB suspension are the only companies which offer upgrades (with 58mm gaps)!
Ryan
Here ya go then people! My Clio S in monaco blue! Will be bringing the front down to 55mm with the help of a koni kit next month!(hopefully) Ryan

yeah middle to middle mate, and let me no if ya gotta do some work on it.still havent made that maxim thread yet we should do really.im gonna put standard lights back on tomo as mot is soon and my lexuss arent emarked they were the oldschool ones!
nah i meant urs is decked!i still gotta sort out my shocks and get the front lowered to -50mil but cant be bothard!did u ever measure ur front shocks for the bolt distance?
yup easy mate the lead you get with the changer reached all the way to the boot and back to the front seat so u get enough length!
oooh ur wheels are looking pretty spankin by the way!just get it lowered now!;)
Ill get a picture up if ya want of the changer
yup thats the pre outs just phono leads!might as well get it mate ur not gonna find it any cheaper than that as long as ya got somewhere to put the changer!
Ive put mine under passenger seat, made a little mdf shelf for it and it doesnt move. The phono leads from the changer will go in the back...
Looks ok mate its xplod and its got decent wattage!plus the cd changer wont jump thats why i got one as i kept getting well annoyed with dodgy cds keep skipping!has it got pre outs?should have 1 pair at least!
yup should do mate all sonys come with them in the box (i work in halfords part time)well they do in my shop, but they cost around £30 to buy i think and there are two different ones!
But its always supplied in a sony!u can change the wires around so it plays with ignition off!
Is the plug going in the back of the stereo? if so if u buy a sony headunit it will contain this connector to connect to the 2 blocks in ur car (1 for power, other for speakers)
Or have i got the wrong end of the stick?
well might wait until policy runs out then, just gotta decide whether to get konis for the clio or go all out and buy a 106gti!seems weird with the 3 mods!
yeah sounds like a good plan!ive got the 6*9s turned right down so they just add a bit of noise!sounds good tho mate ive got a quick release plug thing for the shelf but a criminal probly wouldnt even notice it!
if its got 3 pre outs should be pretty good i would have thought its not silver...
yeah i no what ya mean with a sub bit annoying as it takes up so much room!a 10" is fine in my opinion as long as the box doesnt slide all over the show!
on ur head unit have u got changer control (bus inputs) and outputs for the amp?they should all work as long as its got changer control...
Could try one mate or just tighten up all the screws surrounding the headunit mount under the blower nobs!
if u get a changer u obviously have to get one the same make as your current headunit!halfords stock new cages should fit.
the clio headunit is at an akward angle so the cd might skip...
if u wanna get away with no skipping cds and get rid of the hole in the glove box get a cd changer as long as ur current headunit is compatible!and put the changer in the glove box and ur sorted!this is what i have done ive got minidisc headunit and cd changer and there are NO jumps at all plus...
yeah i will do mate if the boy is still speaking to me as i didnt believe him that his car was a 16v as the arches on the rear looked too small!!
Thats just nasty having ur door bent like that typical!
if anything does go wrong with the alarm just take it back asap!as warranty states thats...
nah its not rich i think its ken maybe, the others are ok its just hes the manager i believe. ive got the red light probly should have got the blue as i got a blue car but i fort it was more security-afied. cos if u see a red light u stay away (well thats what i fort load of toilet really)...
yeah the man who fits the alarm is a bit annoying he wont listen to what uv got to say either, i was waiting 2 months for a new remote then he said the battery was run out well that was a load of mailto:b@ll@cks">b@ll@cks!
so i argued and got a new one on the spot then he tried to charge me...
