only 3 mods allowed yes, lowering springs are £30, tinted windows £50, renaultsport seats £20, backbox is nothing if you say its a replacement for a one that had a hole/damaged.

cost me £100 all in for my 3.

it dont matter how long u got left on ya policy neither, I had to pay £30 for seats for 1 month! LOL

that is strange cause all my mods are written down on my policy  and it was hardly anything more with the mods declared

well might wait until policy runs out then, just gotta decide whether to get konis for the clio or go all out and buy a 106gti!seems weird with the 3 mods!

, backbox is nothing if you say its a replacement for a one that had a hole/damaged.
then if you crash and they send out their inspectors, they notice an aftermarket exhaust, that isnt declared, bye bye policy

i think every little modification, no matter how small, should be listed on the policy

Isnt colour coding classed as a cosmetic change then?

I agree, colour coding, im talking just rubbing strips, surly that is nothing noticable and cant really be classed as a mod?

Just looked on the Norwich NUnion website and was reading though the terms and conditions and it says that you arent allowed any modifications.

"Your car is not valued at more than £50,000, modified, or registered before 1960 "

The aftermarket exhaust IS declared, I just said it was a replacement for my original damaged one, told her it was not Renault but Peco, and she said THAT IS FINE NO CHARGE.
