Checked the fuses? Normally the first port of call with Clip electrics.

I'm just going to put mine in a robust case like my old 4 had I threw that at a radiator my hardest and not a mark on the phone there was a line across the case though.

As above not sure on the model of TV but it's a 3D TV I plug a flash drive in and it finds it no problem I plug in a seagate external hard drive (1tb) it's powered by the USB cable and the light on it just flashes and the TV doesn't pick up its there? Any clues? I've tried NTFS and FAT32...

When I click restore Revels it's just reading whats already on the phone and downloading It. It's not downloading iOS 6 :( and cheers phuzion I got the 5.1.1 from there and tried a shift restore it just throws up and error during preparing phone for restore. I even tried it with tiny umbrella...

Haven't attempted that yet mate, when I click restore in iTunes without selecting a custom firmware and letting iTunes do the talking it goes and gets 5.1.1 from the iTunes servers. I could always download the iOS6 ISPW from a site and give it a go with selecting my own firmware on a restore?

Won't let me update to iOS 6. I'm on a jail broke iOS 5 though has anyone lost all their data from updating like what happened with the iOS 5? All the contacts disappeared and the like.
