That's the plan, imagine it's a bumper off job to do it nicely though. I would have done it by now, but the temptation to buy a cage was too strong!
Just make sure they're 'e' marked if you want them road legal. It's pretty easy to spot road legal ones - they usually have a large red button to press to release them. Demon tweaks catalogue specifies which are road legal.
Before you put anything on that you can't reverse, use electrical tape to make sure the area you seal or smooth is correct! I thought the whistling came from the hole left where the temp sensor would go? Don't get it with mine though so can't be sure.
No. Will be down to the driver, not much in it at all. I've only ever come across one on the road where conditions have allowed a decent run. It was over a roundabout then onto a nice tight left onto a motorway sliproad. I pulled away a few feet, but I'm pretty sure I took a better line through...
