I'm sure someone posted ages ago about a weight being on a replacement cable they bought for their 182 or 172, but there wasn't one on their original? Don't think the guy ever got an answer!
Anyone know who's car the top one is? What's been done to the headlight? I take it it's been made into a cold air feed - would be interested to find out how it's been done.
As I've just got them from a mate, thought I'd put a few random pics up from the Ring trip last month - hope you like 'em!
Apparently the engine got a little hot on this and damaged the bonnet...
Couldn't help myself...
Brand new tyres don't give their best grip for a fair few miles no matter what make they are.
Sorry to see the damage, know how you feel - I wanted to throw up when I got out the car and saw the damage to mine a few years ago. Rebuild it faster! ;)
My question would be why do the manufacturers bother to specify a running in period then? After all they are responsible for the engine for the next 3 years!
I'm not saying that any of the above replys are wrong, but I can't see any logic in a manufacturer stating a running in period if it's...
I read that magnesium wheels can be more prone to corrosion than aluminium wheels - is this the case with the Speedline 2020's? Anyone know or had any experience?
What he said, and what I'm currently running. Like them! Had to grind the pads down a bit to get them to fit, but that seems to be the case with every set of pads I've had put on! Must have bad calipers!
From Michelin:
Michelin do, indeed, produce 3 products in the basic tyre size & tread pattern mentioned:
205/45 R 16 83V ‘New Pilot Exalto (PE2)’ (V=Max speed 149mph)
205/45 ZR 16 83W...
No induction kit makes a big difference! I went for it as it was reputed to be the best. What really needs to be done is a rolling road day with one car and a number of induction kits - it would settle the arguments!
