Had a chat with someone in insurance on your behalf. Adrian Flux being the broker is your representative. Your dealings should be with Adrian Flux, not the actual insurers. The first thing you need to do is ask for clarification in writing from Adrian Flux as to why this problem has occured.

It's difficult for me to tell - my car has no sound proofing in it at the back, everything is gone so it's always sounds loud as hell inside. I can't really tell how load it is from the outside, but the vids give an idea.

Brake squeel without the shims, but it may not happen. You might also get a slight knocking noise when you go into reverse as the pads move.
I've had various pads fitted to mine and most have needed some filing down. Although I'm thinking that my calipers are at the poor side of manufacturing...
172 or 182 mate? I did watch my 182 Orbisoud get fitted - simple job, no drilling. The guy said it was the easiest exhaust he'd ever fitted. Lined up with the rear cut outs perfectly first time too.
A friend of mine has an 05 plate mk2 and is currently trying to put in an aftermarket headunit.
The problem is that everytime they plug it in it appears to have power to eject CDs, but won't power the display. At first I thought it was just the headunit being past its best as it wasn't new...
In my opinion 95% of people on the roads seeing an RS with a loud exhaust will see it as chavy - mainly because they see it as a 1.2 shopping car with a loud exhaust. It's not their fault, they don't know any better.
Lol, you guys should try talking to the owner! The mirrors are black as he's fed up with replacing the body coloured ones everytime he goes down his local lanes! The 15's are on there for the track, and you can do many more track days if the tyres cost half that of 16's! He'd have centre caps if...
Evo magazine did something similar with their Ring M3 did they not? Obviously they picked a better car to start with, but it's still an NA car with limited engine tuning potential for that size of budget.
I thought they did pretty well to make a 300hp e36 M3 lap quicker than a Porsche 911...
Any quieter and your car will sound like a Toyota Prius! Seriously though, if you can't live with it, take it back - hope it gets sorted with the minimum of fuss.
