Ive got my dad on the case to ring his insurance mate. I work self employed so Id loose a days pay which Im going to Ireland in a week and need all the money I can get
Yeh it sti drives seany with a hideous knocking noise especially under breaking and work is 25 miles away up the m6 in leyland
Unfortunately I don't have a 200 rob I have a 1.2 2000 Clio lol I meant made in 2000
The driveshaft has now gone drivers side. Need to rant really can't be arsed doing my head in now 15 quid for a new f**king drive shaft piece of crap!!!!
I mean spigot rings silly me lol head was up my ass this morning
But yeh mine are fine so far also have it on stiffer springs so a lot of rumble and bumps going through them :)
I have the exact same connector hanging there too mate ;) Dont worry about it,
Its not your Stalk control though my original tape player used to work with my stalk controls and ive never noticed that wire so god knows :)
Looking good Dan,
Ill try and help you through facebook too mate if you get stuck... So far so good though. Ive replaced near enough all my car so if you get stuck I shall be about lol
Look behind the passenger wheel (behind the arch lining) on the front theres a big braided looking strap from what I know thats your earth strap matey :) Give it a wiggle lol
Something is defiantly loose mate. I would start at the earth strap making sure that's not come loose? Possibly even the battery is old and its on its way out check it with a Volt Meter to check it has Juice (12 - 13V will suffice)
As Rob said,
The switches are SERIOUSLY iffy on these cars. One tap too hard to the hazard switch and it breaks mate easy to replace yourself too.

I have a set of wheels on mine (not OZ F1 mind) but my alloys centres are rather large round the hub. Ive run the car n spacers for 2 weeks now and no problems had 100 out of it on the motorway and still no problems? If that helps...
Nick
(15" alloys btw)
