    Not all that quick these, 144 bhp per ton. Its the 2001 Ibiza Cupra's you have to watch, these are quicker and are closer in performance to a 1*2 @ 163 bhp per ton Weight has killed the newer one tbh

    The most ive had from my Phase 1 was 367 miles to a full tank of V-power. Glasgow to Newcastle and back with driving around newcastle aswell. According to the trip it was ranging between 43-46mpg which is about right if you consider its an 11gallon/50l tank

    I know its not expensive as its mandatory anyway so people in the market for one will desire it be done when there in the market late this year/early next year But then you have to ask yourself will people want a 197 with 25 to 30k on the clock or a relativley low mile trophy with the belt...

    I don't think the Trophys will stay above 7k forever. Miles will bring them down I think, plus cambelts will be due next year on all trophys. This said, there are a few 197's are sub 9k :o

    Does anyone ever think its really that warm to need it to be freezing cold? Its a Renault Sport, windown down, foot down = cold air Easier said in Scotland cause we only get July and winter...

    +1 Definatley, 3-4 miles isnt good enough to get the car warmed up properly. Doesnt help the fact there dog-rough from cold as it is :S

    Drive consitently and anticipate whats ahead and you will easily see above 40mpg in a 172/182 no problem

    Its actually pretty reliable mate beleive it or not. I went to newcastle from glasgow and back, round trip it was 371 miles which was roughly 42-45mpg. Dont it on a full tank. Could have got more but.... With the odd blast here and there including a tussle with a RR sport upto about 138mph...
