My two front brakes are binding Help, coukd it be down to them in need of a change?

OK my front drivers side is binding, hard to spin, my front passengers side is a bit restricted as well, my two rears are fine. Could it be down to the brakes being old then? as they are in desperate need of changing, all on order but it's a bank holiday weekend :(. b****cks I hope to the almighty God it's just the brakes and not the actual calipers :(
Might I add that the car was standing for 4-5 months prior to me buying it

i expect the calipers are sticking mate, had this a few times, prob because it was sat up, you just need to strip the pads out and re greae everything up, iv got to do that to a 4 your old clio this coming weekend.

also Clio brake pads always wear more on the inside pad, so looking at the outside pad doesnt give an accurate indication of the condition of the pads, you may need a new set

So strip them and copper grease them up?
I however have new pads and disks for rears and backs on the way, I may just wait until then...
