Didn't know they existed - will be getting some of these bad boys soon.
Speaking of which, any other decent podcasts around? The only ones I ever got were the original Gervais/Merchant/Pilkington ones and the Iain Lee ones. Obviously with the video capability now sure there must be something...
Who are Rupes? PC and I am presuming the Megs polisher can get out bad swirls, just takes time really, a rotary is no doubt quicker but not really used on properly before, only on some old cars in the dealership that were screwed anyway so couldn't really make the paint any worse!
I thought...
Its not a standard bodyshop type mop, its the new Meguiars random orbital polisher, if its anything like the PC which it is based on should be pretty hard to create any damage whilst using it as long as you are careful.
Just fitted white LEDs to mine and look SOOOO much better than the standards, match the xenons perfect. Only cost £5 for 2 including delivery - best value mod ever!
Will not be disappointed mate. Currently have a 40" in the lounge and a 32" in the study...once I get to move back into my flat will get myself a 40" for myself once I have saved up. Good deal in Argos too at the moment, £999 for a 40" (not sure which model though) and a PS3, which would mainly...
If you can afford the Sony then get that, best picture quality for LCDs, certainly for mass manufacturers, and reasonably well priced now. We have 2 Bravias at home now and look the nuts, just watching the news is a pleasure, the colours are just so vibrant and deep.
Samsung are good for the...
Not got one myslef but was considering it as an upgrade - if you do get one let us know what you think as no one I know has one. If nothing else I guess they are pretty rare and an alternative to the iPhone (although not necessarily as good of course!)
^ Yeah I have stopped doing most my mates cars as they seem to think I would like to spend all day working using my products for free...I don't think so! Think the troulbe is the Poles who will do your car inside and out for £20 makes them think that anything over £50 is extortionate.
I only do...
I would never just use that by itself mate, would always follow up with a mitt and some buckets after. As you say its just designed to soften up the muck and stuff.
How long did you leave it to dwell for? I leave it for a good five minutes before rinsing off.
Yep, all about the boxsets dude! I don't have the patience to wait a week in between episodes, more sometimes as shows have breaks over Christmas in USA.
Thanks to "certain internet sites" can stream whole series as soon as they are available.
I have been able to get through all of the...
Cool nice one dude, will have a look tomorrow. Have a strange urge to put Space 2001 on there for some reason! Although with only the 8GBs to play around with, guess not going to be able to fit many!
Erm, is this a program or something or just like handbrakes?!? :o
Looks good mate, nice car too.
REALLY need to get outside and add a couple of layers of wax, but to be honest can't be assed right now!
Must be getting lazy in my old age hehe.
Agreed! ;)
Seriously though its ok, just not a very fun product to use and I don't really like the finish it leaves on darker metallic cars. Yes its glossy but it looks a little faded or subdued. Still good for wheels and lighter colour cars though, especially white and silver.
Get the Snow Foam, its like £11 for 5 litres or something.
Would get a better shampoo to follow it up with on your mitt though, as Snow Foam on its own won't leave a brilliant finish and obviously just soaking/ spraying the car won't remove 100% of the dirt.
That seems pretty cool, nice one.
Which program do you guys use to rip DVDs to your computer then? The program I used to use wasn't great as it split the films into 1GB files that needed to be played back to back, e.g. close one file and open the next one - obviously not ideal!!!
Thank you all...
Why don't you just buy a decent set of PC speakers and listen to music through iTunes rather than the iPod? The software is a lot better and can then use them to listen to films and games on your PC. I got a Logitech set for about £60, and although only 2 channel + sub, is really very good...
Hi guys...just got a new iPod Nano 3G, and was wondering if it is possible to somehow transfer DVDs onto it at all? Obviously it can play videos, but I wasn't sure what file type you need and how you could get it onto the iPod as you have to do it via iTunes. Maybe something like a DVD...
Yep, being whipped by everyone so far and getting really annoyed!!! Getting the worst luck!
Seer - fair play mnate whatever you want to do! My dad goes cycling every christmas day, was annoying a few years ago when he stacked it and had to spend the day in casualty though!
Sadly we are still in the "family talking stage" and just got the new Monopoly with the new cities where St Albans where I am from is the new Mayfair...good times! :star:
Just got 300 so going to have to whack that on the Bravia later too - although bloody surround sound is broken :mad...
Yeah, 10% discount was better, works out as 5% discount now but can see why he has done it - all about the retention! Better than nothing though for sure so not going to complain!
p.s. so sad I am on the detailing forum on Christmas day! :dead:
