Are you talking about Blackfire or AG? That is another advantage of the Blackfire, no spray-off - if this is happening with the Blackfire you are either using too much or not buffing off properly.
+1 for Blackfire.
Only dressing I have ever used which really lasts in the wet and really keeps its looks.
A lot of products are overhyped and leave you thinking "It could be better" but as far as concerned as long as they keep making this, I will keep buying.
In the Summer I was finishing...
Yeah I like to keep a few layers of products on mine so probably wouldn't notice anyway mind.
Having said that I don't like TFR in general though, can leave some terrible marks on the car if you leave it on and the sun gets to it in the summer.
I don't think so with the Maxi Suds, its pretty mild, and a lot of it I leave to dwell on the wheels and arches. This is mainly on customers cars mind - some of them come in minging and absolutely no protection so don't think it matters there! On my own car I use less, but probably prefer the...
Arches and inside of alloys are two jobs I hate doing.
Not gone so far as to clean the underside of my car yet but I wish you hadn't started me thinking of it as I will probably have to start now ;)
Probably right. In the future we won't even have TV channels as we have now, more that channels buy the rights to show certain programs, then you will probably subscribe to a channel and can download content as it becomes available.
Internet speed will have to be faster though still, so it will...
Yeah was going to try it butwent for the Victoria's instead as it was meant to be a biit better - just the CG descriptions say each product is the best thing since sliced bread so you tend to get a bit sceptical after a while. I do like CG stuff though in general.
^ BUY BUY BUY!!!
I would only buy "boring" coloured Clios really - black and silver, although would get a grey one if there was a CS in that, or a white.
Other colours look good but just wouldn't want to live with them.
I use Super Snow Foam and whilst I initially thought it stripped waxes, I think it is safe. Having said that I think Chemical Guys Maxi Suds is a safer product to use.
I have heard it "confirmed" Snow Foam is safe to waxes and sealants but I would like someone to do a proper test really to...
I doubt there will be a new V6 either, don't think we will ever see another car like that actually. As others have said costs too much to develop and doesn't fit in their current marketing plan.
A Clio Turbo is possible though with the Meg engine, but again that would take sales away from the...
Yeah silver is such a good colour to keep looking mint. My dad can clean his car and wipe over with a QD and looks like its just been freshly detailed. Was considering swapping my 172 for a 182 a while ago and was looking at the silver, think it looks reall nice with the anthracite wheels...
Its not that much of an issue now but I definitely will do next time I need a new set - was wondering how comes some wheels don't have them - now I know why!
Right pain to clean around and like you say it leaves a mark when they are removed that is a pain to clean up.
I don't actually have either the washer or the foam lance yet - getting them for christmas. As I understand it though the AB lance fits the Karches pressure washer without the need for a specific adaptor - but I could be wrong. Best to speak to Autobrite directly as I don't want to quote...
Working on black cars especially was a nightmare before I bought my PC - even if you think you car looks good without it you will be amazed the difference it can make. Even compared to the "bodyshop rotary" look its a million times better.
Where abouts are you based? Might just be best to go...
I'd recommend it for the finish then - its actually less viscous than I was imagining it would be, but left a very slick finish so I would recommend trying it.
Not used the wax yet either, want to try some of the Dodo Waxes first though - but don't want to fork out just yet as can't really...
^ Nerd alert ;)
I currently have:
Chemical Guys Extreme Wash n Wax and Maxi Suds
Saab shampoo (a reformulation of the Sonax stuff)
Victoria Super Soap (used this today for the first time - brilliant stuff! - just make sure you rinse well)
Super Snow Foam
- TBH though I always at least wipe...
That one is the Karcher Foam Lance, the Autobrite version is pretty much the same (well versions - they have a normal and heavy duty version) except meant to work slightly better by all accounts, thats why I am going with them rather than the offical Karcher one.
Not used the Poorboys myself, but have the CG Wheel Guard and think as a one stage product it works great, got a nice cleaning action and seals the wheels well. You can then layer it with a dedicated sealant or a wax. The Poorboys I believe is just a sealant so can be layered - the Wheel Guard...
AB = Autobrite. If you look them up on the net and give them a call, they should be able to tell you if they are compatable, I assume you will need an adaptor if so though. The guys name is Mark, was very helpfull when I spoke to him.
Its ok, but doesn't leave the nicest finish and takes ages to use as you have to leave it to cure, and difficultt to see where you have used it.
There are better out there...
