does it do this from cold, or hot, or both ?
when were the plugs last changed, are the leads in good condition, what about the dizzi cap and rotor arm are they ok ?
476s is NOT hard work, apply it thin and its very very easy to remove
i did the entire car the other week, and then buffed it off, came off easy
the full beading i dont think would last a year, not 100%, but im pretty sure the protection would still be very very high after 12 months
i wont...
normal discs and pads at the back mate, not worth spending much on them
brembo max up front with some good pads like Ferodo
you can get Ferodo DS Performance/DS2000 for about £40 which are a good fast road pad
i do like Clearkote products so i might give it a go
is the SSR1 a lot easier to work with than 2.5, the 2.5 i had was pretty much PC only, no use by hand
buy it from Opie oils, it gets delivered to you and its still cheaper than buying it from a shop, very few places stock it as most people are not willing to spend much on oil and only buy cheap crap
Valvoline dont make an oil that can compare with Pro S, not in the same league
doesnt have to be on max mate, amp those fronts and disconnect the rears apart from the sub, see what you think, might sound strange at first as you have used to loads of sounds from the rear, but close your eyes and listen to all the details in the tracks and the balance of treble/mid/bass
it drives me up the wall when people come into my shop and ask me about ICE, 99/100 they already own some 6x9's and then want a sub, i tell them the best setup and they just look at me as though im stupid, until they listen to my car and they cant tell i dont have any rear speakers apart from a...
you dont need 6x9's if you have a sub, they are a speaker designed to get more bass from a speaker that is still quite small, they have no point if you have a sub already and you can get better sound quality from a normal round speaker, or dont have any rears in at all, with a sub they are not...
im wondering what to use for my paint prep now the weather is getting a bit better
the paint is only a year old so i dont want anything too abrasive, but at the same time i dont think i want just a chemical cleaner, i was thinking of maybe something like AGSR as thats very mildly abrasive...
either someone is being cut out the equation or the oil musnt be of a high spec, because i know the vauxhall oil trade prices and its dirt cheap, though oil prices can in some cases be misleading, in general you get what you pay for but not always, IMO Magnatec is over priced for example, you...
id colour code the handles and delock it mate, cant really tell properly but here is mine
i do think black/white is a good combo, the carbon bonnets look superb on white cars, as do black wheels most of the time
as far as i know Vauxhalls dont use any special oil so it should just be a normal 10W-40
only really VAG cars and Zetecs that have anythin like a specific oil
try your local Motor World mate
they deal with SuperSprint who make em and can get you a price, tell them K-Tec price aswell and they might be able to beat it
if they are fucked mate it would be better getting some new ones, even cheap ones, bad leads can cause you no end of grief, not worth the hassle tryin to fix em for the cash they cost for some cars
follow the pipe from the map sensor to the inlet manifold, check that this has no splits an is connected at both ends
also check that the hoses on the ISCV are ok and that the connector on the top of it is connected properly
