we do Garmins at work and i cant fault any of them
used a c310 and a Nuvi 300 recently and they are both brilliant units
dont get into the thing of spending tons on a sat nav, you dont need to, the more expensive ones usually just have more of europe on them and fancy features you will never use
has the rubber bit fell out or is just damaged ?
if you still have the pieces, unbolt the whole mount, fill in the gaps with tigerseal or something similar, it wont move as much then
Rally Design sell some uprated exhaust rubbers not sure if they will do one for that though, worth tryin em
ring LTR and ask for Taylor, he had some 16s on his so he might have an idea
id say no, but it will be very close with an 8j wheel, very close
LTR - 0161 797 5353
is it damp at all ?
make sure the cap is fitted right, yes it is possible not to fit it quite right, it needs to be on 100% perfect, even 1mm out will make it run like crap when warmed up, ive experienced it myself
Splitfire plugs are supposed to be some cheap american brand plug called Autolite with platinum bits stuck on
actually not that good from what ive heard
if you clean it and dont oil it you may aswell not have an air filter on mate, they need the oil to trap the dirt
buy the proper kit or dont bother cleaning it
ive also had crap results with the Megs clay kit, though not as bad as that
ive got some of the Sonus green clay now which apparently very mild, will be using some Poorboys Spray & Gloss as lubricant
if i use my Clearkote VMHG / Megs SCG then what that i could use over the top will stay there properly.......
ive got some EX-P that ive hardly used actually, does that give any kind of decent protection ?.........does it bead like a proper wax ?
as Maz has mentioned above, the JBL packages we do are silly money for what you get
for a £500 budget though you should be able to get better, just be careful what you pick
ITG have been having some serious issues of late dont seem to have much in stock and there supplier of foam was messing them about
they dont make the ones for the 172/182 they get partly made then sent off for someone else to finish so thats why it takes so long
ive got 2 on back order for...
you might want to consider Bilstein then mate, Euro Car Parts sell them and im pretty certain they will be better quality than the OE ones, and depending on the range you go for they dont have to cost the earth either
a Bosch silver isnt a certain size of battery, its a range of batteries and it could be smaller than what hes got
what you want is the larger 065 type battery if it will fit in the tray, think it will, whats normally fitted is the very common 063 size battery
yup the sportlines are also not 172/182 specific, and they also will lower those models less because of the fact they are lower than the other models from the factory, however they will lower it more than the Pro Lines
yes
the Pro Lines wont lower the 172 very much at all, as they are for ALL of the Clio 'B' range apart from the 1.2, and the 172 being lower than the standard cars anyway, they will only lower it about 10-20mm
its really strange actually, you would think if anything the 172/182 would be the one with different springs than the other models
plus in the tech notes on the site it says if the car is factory lowered then the springs lower the car less, by that amount, so the 30mm springs would by that...
