Yea indeed just looking its $263.75 with postage. Did someone say on here not long ago we could get a discount.- speak to 182 Blue about this, he also has some great guides he can post links to about buying and importing.
Also I use SRP and EGP at the moment along with a few other bits...
The kit you will need is:
PC
110v transformer
110v extension
110v plug
Polish (I would recommend the Menzerna range)
Pads and backing plate (6" are standard, can get 4" pads too for smaller areas although I don't have these myself yet - a German polishing pad can be used to good effect on...
THESE WILL NOT WORK AND YOU COULD DIIIIIIIIIIIIE. Maybe... they don't work anyway!
You need a proper 110V transformer, about £40 - 50 depending where you get it from, an extension cord (about £15 - £20) and a replacement plug (about £5) for the PC to attach it together.
All PCs are the same - it is a brand product rather than a generic type of product - so yes this one is what you are after!
There is no set time for each panel as obviously depends on how bad it is, how good you want it and what products you are using.
When I use mine, I lay a little polish...
In an hour you won't get anything done really, even if you washed, clayed and masked up the car.
You don't want to rush it either - it defeats the point of wanting a professional and proper job. If you just want some quick work then get a bodyshop mop - although will no doubt leave a poor...
You could get someone to do it for you, depends if you think you will get good use out if it.
It took almost a year for me to get mine lol - but very happy with it.
It seems to be like an expensive electric tooth brush/ lady toy...Don't know why they couldn't just take the USA version, change the electrics and add a more powerfull motor. Missed opportunity, although I am sure they will make a better version in the future.
American version works great for...
Yeah... I don't bother doing the underside areas on my car either as it is used every day. I do like to clean out the arches and dress after most washes though, does make a big difference.
If you have bothered cleaning your arches and underside as Rich has done you can understand why he doesn't want to bother with that every week!
It just adds to the suspense - what a showman :rasp:
I would look to spend more on other things before the wax - good polish, sealant, tyre dressings, mf cloths and applicators, foam applicators, wool mitt before the wax.
But if you have those already then nothing stopping you.
I am very happy with the 50/50 I am using but will probably go for...
Possibly...!
I store all mine at room temperature and seem fine to me, although my most expensive wax is currently less than £30 - if I had gone for a top of the range pot I would sit on it like an egg if the instructions said to!
Just thinking about it logically though - if you have to warm it up anyway then just doesn't seem worth it, although I guess waxes contain biological ingredients which may be preserved better in a friedge.
Just be carefull not to confuse it with the Lurpak...
I haven't really looked at the FCS show at all, pretty much the only event I regularly go to each year is Goodwood. Silly question - its not actually in France is it? :S
