thing with directline and privilege is theyre the same companies, however, point to note, if you are involved in a fault accident, then you get a repair car off the garage if you are with privilege, you do no with directline!!! With my 2 claims last yr :o i can vouch that privilege are about...

HMM not sure, but you can ring renault and they will verify the build spec of the car and also what, if any warranty work has been completed on it.

Ring renault customer services, something seem untoward. 172/182 engine failures seem quite rare.

yeah will be warranty, was a common problem on the MK2 172, but doesnt seem be as common now.
