Its not axle tramp. Its a defective/usual renault crap engine mount. Its a common fault on clios and renault do not have a fix for it.
I have had mine like that for a year and a half now and just recently got fed up with it so it will be going into a PROPER garage where they still check...
Nah you cant just replace the grips... when I phoned up renault wanted £250 for the steering wheel, which I ofcourse told them where to ctick it :)
Got one of e-bay for £56 lol, if its in immaculate condition like it should be I will be replacing my one with the split rubber grips...

Dont spose you remember what size the torx bolt in the middle was ?
