more to the point you could buy summit VAG S3 or LCR and chip it for a lot less than 13k, and it would be able to cope with the power. However, fair do's to anyone who loved there clio enough to do it.

yeah.... mine has had the ECU re-flashed (think its correct) so that the VTEC kicks in earlier.. Like I say am still learning about it.... although I cant praise it enough.... Forgot you had had a CTR was after the cup wasnt it??

Well will take your word for it cos know your very informed......:) It just feels short on torque and is very gear sensitive compared to other cars I have owned. Only had mine 3 days so is new to me and still learning how to extract the best out of it.

Depends on insurance company. I spoke to directline regarding my TF, worth 7k and they repaired 6k on it. I said I wasnt keen for it to be repaired, they said it was there choice and it was being repaired!!

Thats is not looking good. if you work of a retail of 7k. then 70% max repair cost leaves 4900+ your excess. Is gonna be very close. Id guess they wont take the risk of extra things being found shoud they repair it.

aye id say 7k would be about right. the mileage is nice and low, but you really dont get much more for it. maybe 7250 at tops. expect a dealer to offer you around 6.5k.
