Only joking mate - and anyway I think packaging does communicate a lot about a product. If someone has spent a long time developing a nice brand logo, product name, packaging it obviously will attract you more than the one in a non descript box.
You shouldn't judge a book by a cover, but...
Only because you don't like the packaging Rich... you are like a brand *****, but for waxes! I wonder what Lusty will make of these, I am awaiting his review with baited breath! :clown:
Very nice phone... I have a Sony z610i and no one else seems to have it. But some kind soul described it as a "homo" phone... so maybe that's why! PErsonally, I love it!
Yeh but the Elite is only £40 more than the Premium when it comes out in the US, so with any luck (as UK consumers are ripped off) that will only be £50-60 extra here.
Plus - it's BLACK (which seems the main USP according to the advert!)
Halo 3, GOW2, PGR4, Forza2, Command & Conquer 3...
Hmm interesting... in that case might wait then. Yeh PS3 has failed to capture interest and imagination so far I think... TBH I think the star of this generation is Nintendo by a long way: they have attracted people who would never have been interested in games before, shown the world that...
I know they have used different part suppliers, but are the parts actually improved (significantly) then?
Hmmm I am a bit of a sucker for latest technology... so might wait for the Elite. I would get a PS3 but no games out on it yet that I think "I need that" - and plus the 360 will have the...
Yeh it seems stupid not to update the manufacturing process really, even in the space of 6 months, components become smaller, more efficient, quieter etc. So since the 360 has been out a while now it seems a wasted opportunity to not take advantage of advancements in the 360. Especially calling...
I am really after a 360, but with the Elite out this year I was wondering what does everyone think - worth waiting for? I think the HDMI cable will make a big difference, like the huge hard disc and I am hoping they sort out some other hardward issues that have plagued the current versions...
I just have the accrylic spray sealant stuff... but that works brilliantly. Would be keen to try others in the range but no real need to at the moment...
My housemate has one... he let me drive it last week, have to say it drives very well even just cruising. As for those who said its not an every day car - what are they talking about?!? It feels light and agile, and the suspension isn't even that hard at all.
Also, it feels solidly screwed...
Cheers guys... I agree about the Body Blitz not being very durable but it really adds to the depth of the lustre I think.
6 hours and still no rain!! Happy days.... :D
Yeh just wish I had a better camera for this type of shot... I eiter get too much sun glare or just fail to capture the clarity...
Thanks though anyway mate - hopefully it won't rain this time!! Although seems to be loads of floaty white things in the air... gay!
Just took a few photos of the cars this morning... in the picturesque setting of my drive! Will be looking for a nice dusk shot somewhere in the country soon as on the drive can't really get much scope and loads of shadows from surrounding walls... but anyway:
Boxster S just had a wash with CG...
Good work, Collinites works excellently on silver cars - and will last for ages. Give it another coat in 2 - 3 weeks just as a top up and will look and last even better.
Really like the silver cars in the summer, look really fresh.
Yes, AG SRP then EGP are a great, inexpensive way to really improve the look of your paint. They can be used on your wheels to with good effect. SRP can be used to polish up your windows too.
Then I would also get a decent lambswool wash mitt, at least two buckets, a decent drying towel, some...
Well colours like metallic blacks, blues, green etc have more possibility of depth, e.g. you can see more flakes and clarity in the paint with a decent wax, where there is a limit to silver... it mainly just improves the gloss.
If you have a silver then I would get AG SRP, then EGP then think...
What's with all this P21s loving of late?!
Not sure about anywhere doing next day delivery (or guaranteed anyway) - might be worthing speaking to a supplier and offering to pay the extra for delivery if your desperate.
Otherwise Halfords, AG EGP then Megs tech wax... not the best products...
Apply a sealant before the wax for protection and it will add to the gloss finish. AG EGP is good, I am using Chemical Guys Body Blitz spray sealant and Jeffs spray sealant on mine at the moment and looks brilliant. Don't really need wax but of course I do... I would recommend Chemical Guys...
Haha...yeh I was only messing. Although I spend more than an hour a weekend. That isn't even me being fussy though, black just takes longer as you have to be so careful.
My dad's silver Boxster S on the other hand, don't even need to dry it properly and looks mint. I think a metallic grey next...
Cheers for that... I am resisting buying any new products for my car for a while, then going to get some Onyx after your recommendation Rich, also some Megs 7 as everyone raves about it and also the Sonus Detail Spray.. can't remember the one, but the one that is meant to be good for all combos...
Yeh Rich, on the subject of glazes can you use it after any detailing stage? I have experimented before sealant, after sealant, and after wax before applying another layer... all seems to have worked ok in terms of retaining protection whilst improving looks.
Am I right, from your experience?
I would just have bought a cover rather than kill some birds...as they tend to reproduce! A cover is a one-stop solution, although more expensive I grant.
Just the animal lover in me coming out :o
Only if you think you will have time... nothing is more annoying than getting interrupted mid-session cleaning your car. It's like your gf's parents coming home whilst your in the prongs of passion... you won't be satisfied until the job is done properly (who said romance was dead! ;) )
