I understand the need to excercise caution, but I have steam cleaned loads of engine bays using a high-pressure washer and never had any problems at all...or am I just riding my luck?!
There are some amazing colours in the individual range.. one I saw a couple of months ago was called "Techno Violet". It was on a 645 and looked spectacular. Surely you must appreciate Beemers a bit Rich?!:approve:
EGP is really good... lasts longer than the CG sealants (although not as bad as Rich seems to think!;))
I quite like the M Sealant but admit its not the best out there.
E90 is the current 3 Series Saloon, E91 is the Tourer, E92 the Coupe and E93 the Convertible.
That is the E60 5 Series (E61 is the 5 Series Tourer) which have both just been facelifted as the E60 and E61 LCI respectively.
Agreed, looks the business. I think that is the Le Mans blue in the...
Bump for Candy White! Although apparently the new paint they are using on the Mercedes C Class has minute pieces of ceramic in it for scratch resistance, and they do a good white...
No, Candy White actually! Do it!!
Yeh I meant the 53, so that answered my question and in the way I thought might be the case.
If I was a supplier of car detailing products, I would make sure that each and every product I sold had a well defined role within the range.
So...whose for setting up a company then?! :S
The white used by VW as on the GTi is the best. Candy white its called...

After seeing a MK1 Sport in white the other day on another thread, think white will look wicked on the 182. Keep us posted when you...
Something like the Citrus Wash from here would do the job:

But my point is that if you are claying the car that will remove polish and wax (as long as you don't use the Sonus Green clay - although even that does a bit).
Look shiny but hard to see what the paint itself looks like - shine isn't everything in my opinion. Although it might give the depth too, I just can't see! :dapprove:
The 5 door 1 Series is quite boring I admit, but the new 3 door and Coupe are really good looking cars. The 5 door has also received a mid-life facelift now anyway and looks sportier inside and out.
The 135i will apparently be faster than the outgoing E46 M3 and I beleive them, judging by the...
Off topic but just seen two new M3s and a 1 Series Coupe at work... sexual is the only word.
M3 in white looks the absolute dog's danglies... but I think the 135i Coupe will be amazing too. Even if Rich doesn't like BMWs...!
I'm always a bit sceptical about totally relying on those ratings though - how do you objectively measure "wetness" for example?
I guess durability would be easier to measure but I tend to use the ratings as a rough guide really and make my mind up for myself.
Yeh I know what you mean, do have a lot of products doing roughly the same job.
I have found the M Sealant ok though, which I know you don't rate. I'm just using it on my wheels at the moment though.
I think manufacturers should produce just one or two of a particular product group, and have...
Is the WMF a wax or what... what sort of finish does it leave?
Also wondering about the anniversary wax they have out now at CGs... as it is cheaper than the 50/50 I assumed it was an inferior product to sit in the middle of the XXX and 50/50?
Must be getting old... I can't see any weave!!
As for defying reality... a solid object walking through rock, or a statue coming to life would defy reality... not sure some flip paint and a bodykit has the same effect buddy!
