When I get round to PCing my car I am going to go with the following:
Menzerna Final Finish (going to try the lightest one first before trying the harsher one, hopefully won't need the Intensive)
Sonus Paint Cleanser
Chemical Guys EZ Glaze II
Chemical Guys Body Blitz Spray Sealant or Jeffs...
Worth the wait - haven't used it on the PC yet but I have the Intensive Polish and both the Final Finishes and have had great results just by hand already...
Powerpoint is good... from experience an audience would prefer good content presented well, rather than loads of flashy animations moving all over the screen.
You can make some really professional looking presentations in it and is the standard program to use I think, every presentation I have...
I tried the Pirelli P Zeros on the 172, very pleased with them so far... apparently they pay for their performance by being less durable than say Contis, but going ok so far. I would say they have slightly better grip than Contis in the wet, pretty much the same in the dry.
I managed to get a...
Ha point well made, will try tomorrow then. Cheers guys will let you know how it goes...
Do you think I should disconnect the battery though? That is the only bit I'm unsure of...
Do any of you guys have any photos of 172/182s with painted callipers...? Just interested to see what it would look like on a black Clio Sport with either blac, silver or red calipers...
Cheers if you do!
Seems pretty long... how long did it take you guys?
Also, did you disconnect the battery? Renault immobilisers are difficult beasts to master from experience!
Been a bit of an idiot and to cut a long story short, ended up pushing the LCD screen about a centimetre back into the dashboard housing. Only problem is that there seems no way to pull it forward again... also annoying as the buttons are joined to the LCD so they have gone back in too...
Don't do it mate! Superguard/ Diamond Brite complete kits cost about £40 - £50, the rest is profit to them. What is more of a piss take is that only takes an hour or two to use.
Get yourself a decent sealant and wax and you will get the same protection, better looks and save yourself a fortune!
Yeh...think its a bit stupid to have two different products in the same packaging, that is meant to help distinguish it. Ah well I know now.
Now just got to put all my PC bits together...just looking at all the bits, do I plug the transformer into the mains, then just plug the extension into...
Yeh shine isn't overly impressive, just a really nice car.
Speaking of nice cars, my housemate picked up his brand new R26 in black with full team decals and a top of the range Pioneer HU with iPod connection and reference speakers front and rear... bloody nice! Feels surprisingly well built...
I have a Pearl Black 172 and think it is the best when clean...which doesn't last for long lol.

If I was getting a 182 I would seriously look at the silver, with the anthracite wheels and cup spoiler I think it looks the nuts, and...
Sounds silly but hhow do you discern between the two Menzerna Final Finish polishes... they both seem to have identical bottles. So much so that I am thinking maybe they sent me two of the same in the set I ordered...any ideas?! Really can't see ANY differences in the two bottles and both the...
Yeh pretty annoying. If your paints ok apart from a bit of sap you can get away with just claying the top surfaces though, sides and lower surfaces shouldn't be too bad if it is just the sap. I find the insect on the front are pretty annoying though too.
Haha... what a joker. Everyone knows that the Detailing forum is the new black!
There are far too many retards on the general forum for my liking these days, just ends up in slagging matches or perving on Hollyoaks girls!
