i always thought they sounded very harsh Middo, dont like the tweeter in them the Type S components however are quite good VFM

if the amp has hi-level input then use that, its better than using an adapter

stay away from Adrian Flux IMO

if £100 is your budget, spend it all id stay away from Alpine Type S, unless your getting components, Pioneers are good in this price range

well i work at Motor World mate, and yes they are good the screen on them used to be bulky, but they have made it a lot more slimline, with more viewable area if you buy one make sure the screen is the black one, its a lot better than previous ones bargain really @ £150 does your amp...
