What turbo does the kit use?

Hopefully birchdown can fit me in to remove it. Im taking it the car will still run as normal even though the light is still on?

New sensor fitted :) All back to normal. Engine managment light still on though, grrrrr. Also a random low ish pitched noise, sounds like a vibration has started aswell. Only when on run down though? Gona check ive tightened everything up in the bay 1st.

I thought that. Much less messing around fitting when engine is out. Sensor have arrived ryan, so car is running fine now :) So let me know when i can pop round :)

To give you an idea, on my metro, i paid £550 for the emerald ecu, £300 for loom, and mapping was around £300- Total £1150 Megasquirt from the USA for a punto,but i can find out what you would need for the clio broke down as this- MS130-K $187 Megasquirt-I kit with V3.0 PCB - ECU Kit...

Look into megasquirt mate, A nice alternative to emerald and DTA etc.

Last week. Give them a ring and give them your reg and they will tell you if it needs checking.

Yeh they will only check it, and if it needs replacing then they order the part. No point in ordering something you might not need :)

Yeh, i rang renault and they said it was outstanding. Quick check and given the all clear, got a reciept just to prove :)

IMO with 30k on the clock its a good price yes.

Might be worth looking into then for £250 :)

Costly lesson i suppose. But as said, will be cheaper sourcing a second hand engine or even head if possible.
