Some wheel brushes and a few detail brushes. They are all the same really so it doesn't matter which ones
Some smaller pads for the tighter areas, a 6 inch pad isn't easy to use for fiddly bits
Would also suggest getting 2 wash mitts. Having a cheap one for doing sills and really grubby bits...
Thanks mate. I only really asked because the previous posts ended up like this and were kinda hard to follow.
I saw you mentioned that infinity wax one earlier and have been looking at it. Gonna buy some later.
Thanks for the help though.
I've never heard it called lsp to be honest. Totally...
Might give it bash.
Maybe i should re-word my post to "I want an excuse to buy some detail spray, what shall i buy"
But i will defo try to polish, think ive got some in the shed somewhere
Ive tried reading through all the posts about detail sprays and i just get lost.
What should i buy to get rid of those greasy fingerprints left over after washing. Spent all day deep cleaning and someone goes and touches the paintwork straight away .... grrr
From what i can see these are decent...
They might not all be relevant to your problem but all seem to crop up lots with diesels. Pressure regulator is probably on the fuel pump. It will be between the pump and the injectors somewhere if its not right on the back of the pump
I had similar issues with a mk3 dci. Turns out the be the pump in the end but i did learn a lot while trying to fix it.
-Make sure the injectors are all actually the same type. They have some sort of prefix on them and should all be the same.
-Coding the injectors does seem to clear up a bit...
Anyone used Auto FInesse Caramics ? I've heard its alright short term but cant seem to find anything definitive about how long it lasts.
Halfords have got it cheap and i wanna know if its worth a shot
Now that sounds like my kind of solution. Time to find myself a rev nut kit.
No more ruined knuckles pulling out plastic pieces of junk. Stick a bit in the impact driver and boom
10 points for this solution. Love your work
i dont know what sweet it is, but it sticks like s**t to a blanket.
Cheers, im tempted just to buy a good one and do the whole house for something to do :)
Someone has managed to get some sticky horrible sweet stuck in my rear carpet. Ive tried freezing it and pulling it out carefully but its just pulling the carpet apart.
What other options do i have ?
Anyone used a steamer ?
If you want a video to help you, heres one that explains it quite nicely i find. Gets better towards the halfway point.
Regarding pads and compounds, if you are new to this then there is no harm choosing a soft combination. There's less chance of you doing any damage plus you can always give...
Have a look on here.

Lots of kits. The meguiars ones are always reliable. The das 6 machines are nice and cheap and work great
If you just turn off dhcp it should still work.
Its a pain, they are all different. Some allow access point mode, some dont allow anything. Its really hard to do without having it to hand
Im assuming your system runs like this ...
Asus router connected to your main internet feed into the house
Tp link router connected to the asus router via cable
It should work by switching dhcp server off
Then changing the default gateway to something other than one being used already. I would...
If you have a computer or laptop it would be ideal to connect directly to the router using a cable. If you disconnect it from everything else and just plug your computer into it then you should be able to access that routers page and change the settings you want to change.
Im assuming it is...
