What tools are we all using to remove the fir tree clips holding arch liners in.
I'm fed up of breaking them by using pliers and brute force
Are those pliers sort of thing any good or are the levers better ?
Help...
The auto finesse drying towel is decent and you can get it from halfords which is a bonus. Apparently the chemical guys ones aren't bad either.
What sort of microfibres are you after ? General cleaning towels for things like door jambs, or are you after ones to use with polishes and waxes
For...
Thats the problem i had i the first place. I pulled the plunger out all the way and let the pedal set it, but the pedal must have had too much travel for the switch and it ruined it. Thats why i suggested getting a genuine one. But adjusting is a good shout before spending more money. You might...
If you arent sure about it just take a picture and im sure someone on here can tell if its a genuine renault one or not.
The other thing to check would be fuses. You can do that yourself for free before you take it anywhere else
Did you have it replaced with a genuine renault one. I had a problem where the aftermarket ones just stop working after the first press.
Returned 3 of them to europarts before i gave up and bought a Renault one. No problems since. Might be worth checking
Carpet Extractors ...
Amazon have got the bissell spot clean on sale right now for 99 quid. Worth it ?
Or should i spend the extra 50 quid to get the pro version ?

Entire kit is on here. They sell it for versions with climate control or whithout. The version without is listed under renault modus. Just read the whole page and you will see what im talking about. I did the whole kit just...
They are safe but not recommended for regular washes. Better used for deep clean and decontamination. That's what I've heard anyway. Could be bulls**t but not worth the risk seeing as there are plenty of other wheel cleaners.
Who knows
Should be nice and easy to apply seeing as it's a paste wax. Seen a few reviews warning people to go easy and not apply too much.
Let us know how you get on. Get some before and after pics :)
Stay away from that stuff. It's got iron out stuff in it and you shouldn't use it all the time as it can eat away at the wheel. I stupidly used it myself when I was feeling cheap :)
Im a big fan of the auto finesse stuff. Imperial wheel cleaner as a pre-treatment and then some of their...
Worth a shot for a fiver
I've always quite liked using auto finesse stuff. Not used any of their wax yet but they are also supposed to be decent.
Too much choice around nowadays
Lots of people rave about Dodo Juice - Purple Haze . Supposed to be really good on dark cars.
Results look decent from what I've seen .
Not sure what durability is like tho.
Been thinking about starting up a YouTube channel for detailing.
What kind of thing does everybody like to see when watching detailing videos.
I haven't got loads of kit, i was thinking of doing videos of me deep cleaning really dirty cars and showing what they really look like without all the...
In need of a proper vacuum for use on my car. Any recommendations ?
Been looking at Henry but cant decide if its worth the price. Would get used round the house too but the car is top priority.
And i feel like a hose vacuum is best for getting in all the nooks and cranny's
Fire some...
Its a chain engine. You wont get 197hp out of it. The most you can get is an extra 10hp with a remap. They are aluminium block engines and are not designed to have any more power put through them. The block heats up too much and deforms and then its game over for that engine. Stick with...
Well fair play, drunk and still working one of those apps is quite some feat. Can barely do it when sober myself.
Ill have to give it another bash.
Just cant seem to pull any detail back into the photos. Trip down the pub for me ...
