It's a trader selling it Rob. No history/service book etc with it though, tells me it's lost and he's trying to find it. I've done an MOT history check and the mileage history all looks ok I've been trying to speak to previous owner but all numbers on internet for him draw a blank.
Strange. My mate had similar issues with a car and they said they wouldn't accept trade cars as the prices had such things as prep charges, warranty etc included in the price
They won't offer you dealer retail on it so there's little point sending them pics of trade cars. It could be worse it could be a Trophy, insurers list those as a 182 Sport too, some real horror stories of owners getting now where near what they are selling for
Given I did 600 miles in this car last year and the fact I've been driving cars with cross drilled discs since the 1980s without an issue I can't honestly say I'm troubled by concerns, when top end manufacturers like AP make them I think a bit of propaganda by EBC is hardly worth worrying about.
Hi Chris.
Rings were perfect thanks, I just warmed them with the hot air gun and they pushed on fine, I was going to send you a photo by PM anyway.
I managed to get the old ones off the original discs so I can maybe carry on the favour some time
Hi. No I didn't get them off eBay, I bought them off another owner on the forum. They were still in the inner boxes wit the Brembo part nos which cross referenced to their parts so I can only presume they are right. I only paid £70 for the full set so can't complain really.
After picking up a set of brembos with pads cheap I've spent a few hours in the garage braving the cold. I've fitted the offside set .The job was fairly straightforward helped by a previous owner using liberal amounts of copper grease here and there. I had to press new bearings in and fit abs...
I've read a couple of posts suggesting that a new VIN sticker. (The one above the oval paint code sticker on the drivers B pillar) can be obtained from Renault via their dealers.
Has anyone actually managed to do this and if so what's the process, guessing you need to produce your V5 and ID...
The catch which locks the lid onto the lower half of the under bonnet fuse box (the triangular shape unit on the inner wing next to the battery)has been snapped off at some time. It's not a major problem but I would like it to be right really. The plastic catch should be part of the lower...
Yes. I bought this set really for the front discs and pads. They were all brembo, all new, they are the grooved discs and they cost £70 for the lot. If I have to spend a bit on bearings and abs rings I don't mind but it seems some people have trouble pressing the bearings in and the abs rings
I've just picked up a full set of front and rear brembo grooved discs and pads. They were brand new and cheap. I intend certainly fitting the fronts however the rears will need bearings pressing in and ABS rings fitting. Now I'm guessing I'm never really going to get any benefit for normal use...
I've just had an MOT failure due to a broken rear spring. I'm just hunting around the net to find a replacement or a pair of. Mine have a red and white stripe on the top coil. There seems to be a mixture of these and some with just a white stripe. What is the colour coding meaning. I'm still...
Probably done somewhere before but what is the general opinion on these things. Do they cause more damage than they save. Are they the preserve of the VDub brigade. Are they the best thing since sliced bread.

Seems very strange neither side is lit. I've posted something on the Trophy forum just in case they weren't on the trophy, I don't want to start stripping the door if they aren't faulty
