Yes. Without the washer / spacer behind the disk the bearing will wobble when torqued up. Dont run the car without the washer / spacer in as the wobble will take out your ABS Sensor. I have a washer if anyone needs one.

But it's in perfect condition and a 2.5" bore. Not loud but miles better than what was on the car. I would of gone original steel if I could of found one at the time. Both cars are advertised in the cars for sale section Silver ph1...

Finally a update ;) tbh i am surpised to see that you are bolting bits on before painting the shell until i read your last paragraph. Are you getting the shell dipped before painting? There is a place in preston that ive used if your intrested.

ive just done one on a ph1. Only buy genuine (unless you like taking stuff back) and they need to be different lengths.

i have heard they do not bolt straight in.

The B&M should have a sliding sleeve under the knob - which held in with a pin. The sleeve then holds the gaitor in the correct position.

Keep the shell - Cut off the full front end, fit a cage and extend the cage to space frame the front end!
