Are 172 handbrake cables the same or different?

As above ive got both sides and they are basicly both the same length, but have been told they should be different sizes.
Anyone have any ideas?

they're all model specific, 172 cup for example are different to 172 normal, delaer only and must be done in pairs

ive just done one on a ph1.

Only buy genuine (unless you like taking stuff back) and they need to be different lengths.
