Only one lobe and follower have been affected......customer had a light ticking noise:S.
Doesn't look as though its run low on oil.

Rose joints are a brand name, they are using spherical bearings for location/pickup points.
We had had what resembles bamboo sticks on a near 200mph gt car suspension years ago......they look alright, so long as correct materials are used, i.e. CDS tubing.
I liked them when they first came out (I was getting them for £26 +vat at the time though).
I have done a full season of sprints/hillcllimbs and everyday road miles in between and found them a good all rounder.
I have a clio here at the moment with a ticking noise, its worn the cam lobes in a strange way.
About .5 mm deep on the base circle has worn away.
I'll pop,a pic up later of how I saw it looking into the oil filler/rocker.

I kept my nearside bracket and deflector on the race car to stop stones flying around near the aux belt when going into the kitty litter....:S
Gripper is a locking diff. You can spec up the ramp angles for how you want it to act. Will only need maintenance if used hard, needs an additive or specific oils, in some cars you have to shorten the nearside drive shaft (we had to knock 25mm of our Renault 5 gtt ones).
