Loving that bumper scraping haha. You look to be carrying serious speed round there, certainly more than I would be feel confident carrying, epic driving. Certainly seems to stop well too. I think Steve M said it well, start off with Brembos to get a base line and go from there. With good fluid...
You make a very sensible point!! If I do eventually decide to venture out on pad will very much be taking it easy haha! Looks like its brembo pads for now and a lot more cash in my back pocket for suspension parts!
Cheers, guess I just need to decide if I was to future proof myself in case I decide to go out on track. I've always like the idea of having good brakes and as such have braided lines and run good fluid. I should probably go for a good pad as well. Decissions decisions!!
I didn't realise it was more of a general tool as tool, I thought it was 182 specific, that sounds more promising.
Feels completely different to my 197, maybe its just the extra weight, but literally feels worlds apart. Full throttle in 1st in the 197 is nothing haha. Although, its a little...
Good comments, forgot about the extra info. Standard Cup Pack wheels, 205/45/R16 PS3s with around 6mm all round. No spacers. I run 33/30 psi front/rear pressures when cold.
I have thought about doing the alignment, but my main hesitation is if I do the alignment and nothing improves, and I...
So I'm about 3,000 miles into my 182 ownership now and have been slowly working round the different components of the car bringing them back to life and next on the list is the steering.
The car appears to get easily 'pulled' into grooves in the road surface, and requires a lot of counter...
Also Bloke, I have seen you mention the Autel MD802 on here before, is it worth the investment? You seem very dubious of Torque and other bluetooth OBD readers, when I did a search through the PistonHeads forums these seemed to be very popular and well spoken of. I am also anxious that it may...
Well, following your advice and suspect of the Torque, I took it down to a recommended garage and it was indeed confirmed as being the Pre-cat Lambda sensor. I shopped around and found a discount code for ECPs and got it down to just over £60. I couldn't seem to find it cheaper than this from...
So my photos have been pretty crap recently, partly because the weather has rubbish and partly because since starting a new job I haven't had as much time as I would like and as such have been working through the jobs quickly not spending too long documenting everything.
Anyway, the badge...
As I daily my 182 and not the 197 I guess I don't really notice the MPG that everyone goes on about. I just think to myself, I am not sure what you were expecting, its a highly tuned NA engine that needs revs to go anywhere, of course its going to go through fuel!! Saying that, I managed...
So update time... After speaking to one of my car friends he has lent me his Torque bluetooth diagnostic adapter. Connected it up to the car, and this time I only have one fault code showing, P0130 as below:
And from what I can understand off my research, this is the pre-cat sensor. So it...
Thanks for the tip, didn't realise there was more that could be done. I shall do some digging and try and find someone who can help diagnose. Engine Dynamics are only 40 odd miles away so worse comes to worst could always make the trip up to them.
Quite a tasty looking 197 on the PH Carpool today, I'm sure its someone from one here... :kissing:

Hey everyone,
So Friday afternoon the EML/Emissions warning light comes on, yellow, stays on doesn't flash. Saturday morning take it in to get the fault codes read. It's got three issues showing- I didn't get the actual codes but was told it had three intermittent faults showing on: 1) Pre...
