No idea, the guy who I sent it to didnt say owt so I assume it was alright. Took a few days though I know that, 3-4 I think for the price I paid.
Theyve got a website with the phone number on, its part of royal mail anyway I think.
I sent my old RT bonnet the other side of the country with Parcel Force, cost £22, just lobbed it in bubble wrap, Parcel Force collected it and that was that!
It will fit in your boot as well with the back seats down, comes just over the back of the headrests, I had a vavler bonnet in the back...
The hissing noise normal, itll be coming from the inlet where the air filter sits, if you take the whole big black thing off youll see a small hole with a plate that opens when you rev the car, above that theres some sort of injector, thats what the hissing is.
In other words, its normal...
Have you checked the water levels? And the replacement filter could do summit, if its allowing more air to flow into the engine it could affect it, somehow!
If you go into Renault and tell them to look under the spoilers section of there database, the vent that unbolts is in there, theyll give you the part number. I know cos it took em bloody ages to find it when I ordered mine, not under vents or owt, the sales guy said it was under spoilers!! Oh...
Liverpool Vic didnt ask for any proove of my mods, just asked if I had bodywork yes, alloys yes, engine modifications yes and that was it, didnt even ask for details. Documents say engine modifications, bodywork and that so I could add whatever to the car without the premimum going up, top notch!!!
