I first thought that, but the rubber inside is already starting to weaken on mine.
I have no doubt my entire exhaust isn't the lightest so maybe this needs to be addressed.
I love the idea of this though, fairly simple in design but certainly looks the part. Maybe cut and reweld the entire...
Very nice, I have one of the 'competition mounts' they are certainly better than OEM however I'm not sure it's the weight of the backbox or not but mine is already starting to weaken. I know there is supposed to be movement in the exhaust (slight) but after time I'm sure even the competition...
Surely for the sake of £50 adding any efficiency to the brakes is a bonus. Yes I'm sure some will argue you can't feel it as some argue they can. But surely for £50 there isn't a downside to having braided lines?
To the OP question, yes for £50 for life span alone you'd see a benefit and in...
I'm not overly found of the looks of the new M4 but I appreciate the specs etc.
If I did own one, I wouldn't go onto a 911 forum and post some useless video on how the M4 would be a 'better daily' than the 911. Or for that matter which brakes are better...
The Fiesta ST is an O.K car like I...
Its showing a more powerful turbo car hitting certain speeds quicker than a less bhp car.
Surely 99% of the people on here already knew that?
I don't mind the ST and it looks to be an O.K car however I don't wish to own/lease/borrow one either, for me it lacks appeal.
Oponeo.
I'd be extremely careful though. In the matter of 40 minutes they have gone from £81 per tyre to £116 per tyre.
Also Federal RSR have gone up a few £.
Wow, just looked for you. They have gone up in the last 12 months. I bought a set last year for £240 now they are closer to £300 a set.
Still a good tyre for the price but for that little bit more £320 I'd go Toyo R888 personally.
Edit: I've just bought a set of Nankang NS2-R for circ £250...
Without turning this thread into a TCR thread. Everytime I've been I've always supplied my own items bar gearbox oil. They was perfectly fine fitting the items. ( All items was genuine ).
On another note, also used BTM Performance and (Diamond) MicKPM. Both supplied me the parts and fitted at...
Chip, you're wrong.
TCR is superior...
When you're on your way there and you're driving through Walsall. You get to see your old wheels which was stolen the last time you drove through Walsall lol.
Joking aside. I don't see many specialists with glass fronted, gold plated premises.
Being...
If you want to spend £320 get a set of Toyo R888. If you're wanting to spend around £250 get a set of Federal RSR or Nankang NS2-R.
All will be better than the T1R's.
Turini wheels sell from £250-£400 depending on condition.
Yours from your description I'd look around the £300 mark.
For track use the Turini wheel is fine or 15" lightweight wheel of some sort. If it's a road car stick with 16" wheels. IMO very little rivals the Turini for looks.
Right I've now done the passenger and boot.
I have the roof, under rear window and one attached near fuel tank.
I did use white spirit but it's not as good as tar remover so I'll pick some up mid week and do the remaining next weekend.
I'm glad I'll be able to use the heat gun, had visions of...
Yes I'll be doing them all. Need to get some more tar remover though and be a little more 'collective' with the use.
A little hesitant to use the heat gun around the fuel tank so the one behind the front seats I may find harder to do. (Vertical)
Basically took me 5 minutes per strip. The idea in the long run is to have the interior painted. However we're talking many moons away.
Touch wood I didn't find it too difficult however the roof I believe will be the worst to do.
Not been too much progress in all honest. Had a nightmare with the wheels. Buying/Selling was let down a few times which in turn meant I had to let people down.
However finally I see the light and picking some wheels up over the weekend.
Anyway, I'm trying to cut down on the spending at the...
