Microfibers come in loads of colours, they contain lots and lots of fine strands/fibres which make product removal easy and are very soft so paintwork friendly.

Indeed, a quick wash before hand won't hurt, I clay using soap and water rather than the Quick Detail spray anyway so it would be part of my claying routine anyway.
My old standard 182 with only a few K on the clock made 186 brake on those rollers maybe they don't over read after all ! Must have just been a quick 'un.
AG SRP and EGP works well, top with a cleaner free wheel wax like Poorboys Wheel Sealant or Swissvax Autobahn works well.
Klasse AIO or Carlack 68 topped with Zaino Z2 works even better.
It is so thin and watery it is easy to apply in back and forth motions.
Straight lines is the preferred method for most non abrasive products (waxes and sealants) where you don't actually need to physically work them.

Applying the EGP requires no effort, and removing it is a breeze as long as you get it on thin enough.
SRP may require some elbow grease in places if your trying to clean up and marring, if the paint is in good shape, even that won't need much effort as long as you again don't use too much product.
