Cheers mate, just gradually refreshing/upgrading things along the way. Told myself i would'nt do any mods apart from suspension when i first bought it after getting abit carried away on my MPS
Well hoses have just arrived from MTC and i have to say they seem very good quality for the price, Mikalor clamps also came on Monday from Ramair so now all i have to do is fit them over the weekend (weather and work dependant)
Yeah i got them after speaking with Tony and him saying he used them as wets on the race car, could plow through water and it didnt even so much as twitch

Small update (no pics) bought a VERY VERY good condition K-tec stealth from Kelv so fitted that to the car, iv recently discovered iv got a coolant leak so iv got a New Nissens rad sat in the shed ready to fit but im also going to do silicone coolant hoses at the same time.

There's only 2 settings on the newer ones if im not mistaken, try it on the softest setting first (hole closest to the end of arb) and see how you find it.. if its not wuite stiff enough for you then go to hardest setting
Well nothing major has happened since i last posted, just general servicing i.e oil & filter. Bough a ramair panel filter and fitted that a few weeks ago.
Went in for MOT 2weeks ago and the drivers side handbrake cable snapped so i ordered a pair from RPD which arrived quickly as always, then...
External on my 53 plate 172, changed it a few months back on 68k and it was pretty minging when i poured the petrol out of it so not a bad idea to change for the sake of a few quid
I asked matthew ashmore which is who owned the black car i posted and he mentioned it also if you look in the grou p buy section someone offered a GB last year and also mentioned the thin nuts for these wheels like so...

Whitelone used to be 3way adjustment, i had one on my old CUP 4yrs ago and that was 3 way.. improved the car loads in the dry but i found the back end awful when it was damp/wet so took it off and sold it
Could you give me an idea of price wise for a FULL rebuild i.e synchro's bearings and doing the bolted diff mod on a 172 box please... PM me if you rather
My current 172 had budgets on all round (were quite new) so thought id may aswel get some use out of them and surprisingly they weren't actually as bad as i was expecting

I have infact sent a email asking if they sell the filter spec similar to K-tec as iv just been out and measured my bay and even with the Medium Filter with the built in pipe looks to be a tight squeeze in the bay
Im personally going for silicone piping anyways, just showing other options for filter's depending which route you go down.. Ramair website it's self is the cheapest place ATM to get the filter as they have discount codes available
