The wrighting it off the next day could be put to anyone who's ever spent money on a car such as yourself with the turbo and RS2'd car, it's just one of those things which can't be predicted and tbh I'd rather just send the car off and not have it while the work is done and get it back all...

il just leave old pistons in mine tbh, but iv spent that much in 3 years including the price of the car its at the stage of i may aswel just keep it going and turn it in 2 a w.end/tracktoy and get the R32 as a daily
By new i also meant newer than a 2nd hand lump with 60k on it
Mines up at them kind of miles Chip, still takes a boot full with out a flicker etc, thinking of getting mine refreshed i.e rings,shells,oil jets,bearings,honed, new oil pump etc and get the head rebuilt with new guides,valve springs,1 piece valves maybe abit head work etc
inho if you plan on keeping the car a while you'll be better off getting a engine rebuild as then essentially its all new internally, i know that's what il be doing with the cup rather than throwing a 2nd hand lump in with already worn rings etc etc, all depends how much you want 2 spend
Will be a good view there, as said above its a big business park as its not at Gintys place this time (seaview) il be there as its only 2 mins from mine and be quite a few of the local lads with diffrent cars going

If it wasnt the fact i need 4 tyres soon id of kept them on through winter, going to just stick some normal rubber on for the winter and then stickier compound as soon as it starts to warm up again after the winter.. Think im going for either PS3's or Conti's all round for the winter

Saw this parked up at work this morning, looks nice like but thought you'd of gone back 2 a Ford after talking to you when i got the fuel rail off the flamer
I maybe able to pop along to this now, will only be for an hour tho and probs won't be in the cup as its still sat dead till I get the circlip through post and have time to bang it all back together so will be in the MCS
I mentioned these on a thread mobths ago and got slated for mentioing, now everyone shows intrest... Jeez how times change and they all flock as usual lol
saw this car around this time last year in a service as i headed back down south, followed him out the services and next thing i knew a cloud of smoke and a good old roar and he was well on his way, i suspect it was on the lower power back then as it looked around a 220bhp car but sounded lovely...

agree, there's been so many times where iv been wanting rid but it's just not worth getting rid for me now with as said the moon miles what's on it so il just keep it till the end even if it ends up as just a w.end toy but i know one thing for sure i certainly won't...

bored to death of mine but due to the mileage etc it's not worth getting shot of, just going to keep using it till it gives up and then weigh it in lol, was going to get a new car in the next month or 2 but will go on the back burner for now and get the missus a car...
