Quickly cut down work/progress so far, had the timing checked by Andy @ CT as i knew it wasn't quite right on my drive home - was found to be retarded so Andy corrected it for me.

Alright lads, some of the older members may remember me from the days of owning my Iceberg Cup (J9 CUP)
I replaced this with a Mk1 3 MPS, which i had for just over 2 years and modified nicely (bigger turbo and all supporting mods) which was heading for 380BHP and similar torque.. however one...
Not bad of a car, bottom ends are toffee on them tho.. got bored of mine after a year, had BNR S3 turbo (2871) with supporting mods heading for 380BHP but bottom end went one night on my way home from work and ditched the oil on the red hot Downpipe and went up in flames.
Dont miss the car...
Well bringing a very old post back from the dead, anyways i ended up with quite a few mods on the car and was all set for 380BHP when on the way home from work one night it decided to blow a hole through the block where the oil return bolted.

Well 2 months in of ownership and im still really enjoying the car, haven't done anything to it apart from a TurboSmart re-circ valve and the VVT kit as it started to rattle after a service so got it done the very next week, found it's got a Sure rear engine mount fitted which seems to be a well...
true courtesy car isn't bad but the length of time for this build has been far to long in my eyes unless of course sharky has been building the funds up as the time has gone on to allow for more/better upgraded parts along the way
jesus i haven't been on here in around 2 months and i thought when i clicked it may finally be at the point of the car been complete, no way could i of waited this long for it to be done but thats me
As above, looking for some pointers on the quickest way to do this as il be tackling it very soon, basically since buying the MPS in Jan the cup has just sat and not been used as the alternator packed up in 2 weeks of been sat, was going to break the car but after a stupidly low renewal off...
I guess the company you mentioned been in the North East for the MPS is Possibly Total Mps in Newcastle? Already got a few things in my shopping basket from then but as theyre only a short journey from me il probs just go up and collect the parts
Liam the bonnet scoop is mk2's and not so sleeperish in my eyes, i wanted something what blends in 2 people who dont know much about cars.
