So what do you think this is worth? 2004 Clio Cup in Inferno Orange. 142k on the clock, aux belt done 20k ago with receipt inc previous belt changes but due dephaser.
Good condition bodywork all round, marks on front left bumper and small dent on rear arch but paint undamaged
Lots of paperwork...
After a busy and sunburned weekend Goodwood on Saturday then retro rides Sunday I've got a collection of photos uploaded, I tried to get several of each car mainly in the morning sessions. I have original and uncropped shots to if anyone wants them just let me know which car in a PM.
Origin RS...
On my way back from work yesterday in my Ph2 everything seemed fine when suddenly it looked almost like a power cut everything went off headlights, dash lights even the clock reset but the engine didn't cut out. Worried I rolled to a stop at the side of the road where it was safe just before...
Well today I picked up a 172, not much to say yet but it's basically a cheap car for me to use since the gearbox on my Fiesta ST went bang last week and it's intended as a stop gap between now and fixing the ST/selling it towards a 225 F1 however that's not to say I wont end up keeping it...
Does need some tlc,NGK spark plugs, fuchs titan 5w40 air oil pollen and fuel filters all on order. Mrs will be sorting a belt out soon new clutch has been fitted 3 years ago also looking at new brembo hc discs all round.
Need to give it a good service as I'm not sure when it was last done however the oil does look near new. Few bits missing from under here to a fusebox/wire cover , a screw from the airfilter that holds it to the front slam panel and the ecu bracket.
Advisory on 1 tyre and 2 discs. Seat isn't great but I wasn't prepared to pay any more then the listing even with the MOT on. It has the invoice for a new clutch a couple years back and invoice for cambelt but not for its fitting however it does pull well and seems alright. Lots of receipts for...
Picked u my first Renaultsport a PH2 172 with 101k and 12 months MOT after testing a 197 disliking it then going for the cheap and fun option. My daily is a 08 Fiesta ST (up for sale) which doesn't have a patch on the clio even in terms of comfort. I've previously owned a Fn2 Type-R, a R56 Mini...
Now Sold
£2500 was a proper bargain, wish could got more but had it for sale everywhere autotrader, ebay, bargin pages, freead, gumtree, about 8 different car forms and on notice boards in local shop lol for 3 weeks an the person who brought it was the 1st to actually come and look.
Ok theirs very few but check this for an amusing advert

Very tempted by one of these myself but the TDCI Zetec-s. Would prob have to be in black or red myself.
The TDCI is a lovely looking car, well equipt (same as yours) and does stupid miles to the gallon! Not too slow either nice with abit of torque and remap will see them do 0-60 in 10secs...
DCI 100 would be your best bet but theirs few around and their not cheap!
Better option would be the 1.4 16v, nice bit of power and insurance and economy not much different to the 1.2 16v. I drove both a few weeks back (1.2 and 1.4) the 1.4 pulled so much smoother and nicer.
Why not check...
Someone buy it then please :D lol
Just want it gone, not in desperate need for money so not going any lower but its just sitting on my drive wasting tax and MOT, do start it up a few times a week give it a little run to the shops and back tho
Had in on autotrader for a week at £2800 and on ebay for almost week at 2800, also been in bargin pages and a few local papers. Had 1 phone call from a indian saying "ill give you £2k, cant give you any more as its all I have" Course told him where to stick it
