Going by personal experience service history only goes so far.
My last 2 cars one had 15 years of stamps/receipts/mots etc and every month something broke on it costing me 200-600 a month in parts/fluids.
My most recent car has little to no service history but is hassle free and sounds a lot...
All further in the pipe works ;)
Little idles can be down to an incorrect ECU/faulty MAF/MAF wiring (like mine) or the intake isn't getting air (in most cases)
When my correct bonnet is on the turbo vent sits just above the intake but as it is now the air isn't circulating as it should.
The...
Lol that's my nickname as I'm a natural redhead and my hair is currently back to it's natural state recently.
Like I said personal opinion you don't like then fair enough, I dont follow what everyone else thinks I have my own style. No sheep here please :p
Hmm he has changed the cam cover so no visible clues. Looks tidy from the engine bay alone. Looks lie it's been sprayed and/or treated at some point.
The cam covers give the biggest clue really but it'll more then likely be an early mondeo (mk1 93-96) :)
Non abs fiesta though (although abs on...
efi is the standard fiesta inlet but mondeo engines run on those as mine is ,as are other modified ones.
yeah it's a pain sourcing parts from the early mondeos :)
I've seen 2 running around Purley way. one of them is someone I know the other is a black one but it has pov spec bumpers (good...
that's a good power bump.
don't suppose you know what fonor car the 1.8 was from?
I know a lot of people with zetec s drop 1.7 puma lumps into their cars as it's a straight swap (or easy as) the 2.0 into the si.
temporary bodge till either the hose gets here or the 197 does, then off the road with it :)
I'm still a novice with most of it but I know enough to do what i've done. security torx are hell lol
Tom it's pretty nippy if I'm honest. really responsive to the throttle but with no ABS it's tricky...
ah that's whilst I wait for some standard induction hose off another si.
to get the larger MAF to fit to the smaller 1.6 hose (K&N as the standard hose that was originally on it was a state) I had to make a slight slit in one side.
slide it over, heat wrap then insulation tape just to be sure...
the current one is lol.
tbh it's personal choice. Chav or not it's got the speed to back up the mouth.
it does split views though (like marmite) love it or hate it you can't deny it :p
Manchester but there are 2 orange (or was) up north.
I'd be quite interested in running this up against my 197 as they should be evenly pegged in handling terms and the fez will have slightly more pulling away speed as its more torque-e lower down the range.
0-60 speed is similar too depending...
Colour was previous owners choice. Although in the flesh I like it and its a lot nicer (not so in your face) especially with half a tonne of dirt from country roads) :P
Brought it as the shell was mint and its almost impossible to find a 15-16 year old fiesta with little to no rust (after...
thats cause of the temporary bonnet. It looks a lot less bad then that with my normal bonnet on it. I detest the scoop but it was that or put a Red bonnet on it. At least that colour matches.
Trust me it isn't a chav car. I have owned a chavved fiesta for a very short space of time and this...
Its actually not that bad. No loud exhaust as it really doesn't need it and very quick as the car weighs next to nothing and does 0-60 in (my quickest time) 6.8 but normal driving about 7-8 seconds. Loads of torque right upto red line but it is so lour on anything above 70 and the fuel...
So this is my Fez with the 2.0ltr conversion (mk1 mondy engine/ECU/MAF)
1.6 out 2.0 silvertop in (as blacktop would take more to get it in but has a few more hp)
Beading
hmm there are more pictures but probably in another account...
It also had an...

Also before you all take the...
grasshopper is literally 5 minutes from me as I live in westerham.
I brave the cold got a meet in sixfields on the 9th with my si as a few people want to see it before I uninsure it (if I even do as will need insurance for FF and it's an ass to sort with all the stuff)
yep the base of my 2.0...
T5phy yes I am a female. One of the only females on the other forum with a heavily modded fez too :P
Quite a few Kent people in here. I've probably admired/drooled over someone off heres Clio at some point. I can't help it, just the effect they have.
Anyone know and/or own CL10 HER? That gets...
I'm more Sevenoaks/oxted way.
nope that's not renault in Orpington it's wilsons in Epsom.
my family has had cars from them before and they are a great (and huge) dealers.
I much prefer the blue over the silver (the other car) just makes it stand out a little more
thanks everyone :D
Hello everyone.
Picking up my new Clio in 2 weeks time as it has some work needed on it (new brake pads and 2 areas of bodywork a scratch and a dink)
I've always owned a Fiesta mk3 of some kind (1.1LX, 1.4Si, 1.6Si) and my most recent which is modified with a 2.0lt Mondeo engine in it...
