Thnaks Steve :)
Do they squeel under breaking on low speeds? Similar to the Mintex? I'm going to purchase some, just never seen them on any of the top mod clio sites...
Nope not racing blue, darker im sure. Didnt catch the number plate as he was in the other lane with a car behind him... Oh and the fact that i was still half asleep lol

see if you can get the airbox cheap of this one....
Look on ebay for a spare AirBox... That way you can fiddle with it to your hearts content and iff all goes wrong and your not happy then simply put the original one back in!
I'm doing it atm for my 182. Your not looking at much for an airbox!
May have ago at another one when I'm back off my hols... Its c**p in the winter becasue there is nowhere to spray, been using the company back room but some of the workers were moaning about the fumes lol.
Why doesn't your CAF fit?
Yeah I see your point.
You could always put some small pipe at the very bottom of the air box? Where it starts to go thin... that way the water can drain away down the pipe.
If i get a Front CAF then that will make things worse, you will have the rain impacting into it at speed, then you...
Water being sucked up  Hehe, could be the new idea for a road cleaner!
I was worried about sticking the CAF at the front of the car in the winter as you will get all kinds of leaves and s**t blowing into it... i guess it depends if you just stick the pipe behind the grille or use an inlet..
To remove the ribs just get some pliers and twist left then right, the plastic is quite brittle in the middle so it comes off in one!
There are so many cross ribs on the inside that you dont have to worry that the thing will break lol.
Only in the corner you have to get a Stanley knife blade...
Got a bit bored so decided to give my airbox a bit of a re-spray....
Took the external ribs off as they were not really doing anything, also meant i could buff up the side for a mirror image... well, try to :o
Next step is to modify the bottom section to take 75mm Dia tube direct :approve...
I'm in the same situation! Ordered a new front lower grille and airbox off ebay to have a fiddle around.... I get bored easily!
Can you still pipe down to the lower grille even if the acoustic is connected? was thinking of drilling a 65-75mm hole into my airbox off ebay to pipe direct into it...
