Re: Dave.'s Cammed, 2118'd Carbon obsession
I'd say that Jays and Tony's torque increase would have been the solid airbox happens to resonate well at certain rpm increasing the torque?!?
Nice plans Dave, definately stealing some ideas :rasp:
I'm probably just going to have to try both on a rr then. For testing should there be a filter on the airbox Danny or fine for that short time just sucking in from the side?
Lol, thinking about changing the box I have a 60mm backplate, 90mm trumpets currently so 30mm protruding.
Thinking about a 65mm front plate so 35mm clearance to the front of the box... but its not flat so could be slightly under 30mm in some places
Lol it looks like he's rocking a recycling bin on the back as a fuel tank!! That looks like a pretty fun circuit, something you could have out the back garden or something :)
Chances are with a decat you'll get a warning light but should run as normal. The spluttering and power loss will be because its down a cylinder most likely.
Could be any of coilpack, ht leads, plugs, lambda dude.
Start checking with the easy stuff, Just check all the plugs are in tight, and the ht leads aren't arc'ing anywhere. You can swap the lambdas about and it'll work fine. See if that makes any difference
Lol it's shaken the cameraman up a bit it seems. That's a sound of epic proportions, I've never heard that from a megane before, sounds just like the focus rs milltek. LOVE it
Is there a formula or something to use going by the cam degrees as to what tubing size is best Matt or just trail and error? I presume your SP ones are stainless?
Anyone had anything made up? I know Matt from tdf had been/is working on something but havn't heard anything about it.
Bar those stainless ebay jobs theres not much else going on, but there's bound to be decent gains out some something well designed and stainless for the itb,sc,turbo clios we...

That welding makes me feel like a little school girl! Cork might start to flake off if its getting wet and dry often, might be wrong though
