Re: Cro's r27 f1
Cheers guys, no doesn't catch at all. I can hear it hit the arch liner when I've a few in the car and hit a bump in the road but not badly
Re: Cro's r27 f1
Stuck the spacers and kw's in a couple of weekends ago but the weather has been shocking so no photos until now
Rear is as low as it goes, needs custom springs if I want to go any lower. It's settled ok, handles brilliantly so ill see how it goes for now. Bigger things to be...
Re: Cro's r27 f1
probably Saturday Chris, next stop engine ;)
lol can't be letting down my rep knuckles! They were 200 posted for all 4 from lark speed, 10 less if posted to mainland
Well the z isnt long away :( instantly gutted, great looking and sounding car but on to the next one.
Picked this up a while back as a stop gap , I'm still 50/50 whether to keep it, in which case things are gonna get real tropical over at cro's garage over the coming months. Or keep it a few...
I had adapters made mate, changing the pcd and bore from nissan to bmw. Though you can buy most types off the shelf from the likes of h+r, I had a bit of bother getting hold of some for mine so had them made instead
Im a project guy dude, if I was minted I'd do both but anymore to this and it would start to get ruined I think. Hopefully sells quick enough and I can get on building something again
Looks like i'm going to come back to CS when this sells, I blame builds like Andyrg's :rasp: probably in a 197 this time and look towards meggy running gear, take it from there :)
Cheers guys, glad people like it. Wasn't sure how it'd go down, yanks would say its too high i'd imagine but its prefectly useable like this so thats how its staying.
Jake that's mine, about £150 to buy but im sure there are places you could rent/borrow from. Though if you are going to do it...
Cheers guys, it's something a bit different. And a tough car to choose wheels for, it'll always divide people... but sure so did the 5dr :)
Know what you mean about the front arches James, lower you go the stranger it looks!
Gaz, the guy I bought it off had a crazy expensive motordyne xyz...
Bumping a 3 month old thread for that.... what age are you!
Anyway Havn't update this in a good while but a few things have gone on
Bought the Nismo system off Chris when he was putting his back to standard, it is by far the best exhaust sound I have ever heard so I had to have that off him...
I miss proper meets! Garage is full of random rs and clio parts as a constant reminder, but once i can get the bumpers/wings etc shifted it'll all but be gone :(
Lol trying to be Gaz but im a strech virgin and everytime it's mentioned people chime in with the dangerous talk. Broken link too by the way, but had a google and most 235/35 on 10s doesnt seem too bad.
Probably go for a 225/35 on the 9 and 235/35 on the 10
The rears def need rolled (fronts are done) not sure on the tyre sizes but these rear adapters are 25mm, might need to go to 15mm but theres from the car in england and the one in the states ive checked they run a 33mm adapter in the rear... redic camber is the only way they must be rolling. I'd...
Cheers guys. Some pics of the wheels test fitted and the offending rear tyre width. Its 275/45 so im not sure what width to change to, You'd probably have a decent idea Turkish?? I was thinking 235/35, or maybe too much stretch on that? 10"wide 19" wheel
Fitted the coilovers last weekend so everything has pretty much settled and took some pics today after a hose down.
Adapters arrived the other day and tried the new wheels on, i'll need to change the tyres for something with a lower width and profile that what is on them. Hoping Morgan...
To be fair i'm not sure why people say the insurance is a nightmare, greenlight insured me and it was spot on. No different from any other 1*2. Plus the benefit of cheaper tax put smile on my face once a year :)
Still, glad you came to the senses
Unless its crazily different from normal, wait and buy an RS.
Been there done that, unless you have the skills to do yourself its much cheaper to buy proper. If you search you'll see every thread give the same answer
