Probably not brilliant if its burning it off continuously, but even driving a matter of metres with no oil will destroy the engine.
Probably might have worked out handier with another engine from the start, hopefully isnt a big problem when you get it checked
Not better getting somewhere else to do it at his expense Tony? I'd be checking for other damage if I had been running without oil for any amount of time.
Re: Project 172 **** ITB'S - 204bhp *** February Redline Feature
Exact same happened mine Ben with the screws total nightmare!! maybe some air or something in the lines perhaps if they arent feeling strong?
Have you double checked all the sensors and earth straps? I missed one on my first round. Make sure the battery is well charged and all the powerpoints back on
The brackets on the cup alternators are differently placed from the normal ones. on the cup i think they are 180degrees apart and the normal is 130degrees
You'll be needing the cup belt, cup alternator, cup alternator brackets, some niftyness with the PAS pipes to get rid of it. As for expecting 7-10...........no
Lol a sticker?!? surely no matter how thin that might be you will always be able to see it sitting raised, then when the sun hit it, then when dirt gets stuck to the raised side making it look even more obvious
Less secure obviously seeing as they are easily accessed and the original is not. If you have no purpose for fitting them i.e you no longer have a slam panel, I suggest not to fit them tbh
