Yeah no viable replacement boot on the ph2 inner cv bud. I know that some have converted to using a ph1 shaft because of the ability of a replacement boot. Something I'll probably look into and do myself
Yeah tight as a ducks arse dude, first thing I checked because of something I found before.
I don't want to change the dephaser and still have it rattling, I remember bens woes when that happened to him. And if I can clean or replace something while the rocker is off i'd rather get it done at...
Mine had just become a horrendous sounding mess recently, maybe I havn't noticed the noise gradually over time but im starting to hear the difference from outside the car.
Obviously I know the usual dephaser pulley answer, i've heard and change enough of them but this just sounds a bit more...
Lol bloody love that mate!! :) Now you need to get that up on 2 wheels off the track kerbs and hope some photographer gets some shots!!
It's the little things
You need to give henk from fastchip an email mate and he'll give you an unlock code. It should all be plug and play after that and you have downloaded the right maps and cal for the car... which the rs tuner will tell you what version etc.

Has anyone actually got a fully stainless aftermarket manifold on theirs? I certainly only remember 1 person having one and no idea what the gains if any were like. I know a lot of other cars swear by getting a fully stainless fanimold made up and it gives them great gains... Who knows what it'd...
Loctite 7920 gasket/flange sealant is what you want. Its an orange colour, and gives a bit of flex at the joint. the putty stuff will break and fall off within miles
