Any ideas why I cant see the outside temperature display in my Williams? Its fine when the lights are switched on, but when driving in the day, I cant see the temp displayed? :(
Ive had Kicker stuff in the past, currently running Diamond Audio - one of the best subs i hve ever invested in. Id definately recommend Diamond over Kicker anyday!
Safe and Sound in Ashton/Droylsden - fitted my clifford 600 all well and good. Tel: 0161 370 4751 and ask for Paul (if hes free), he fitted mine. Tell him Kelly with the Clio sent you - he might give you a better price :)
Very similar speeds up to 60, 80, maybe a little more but 0-100 speed for the williams i think is quicker than the VTS.
You can compare times, but thats as far as it goes, coming from an old saxo owner :)
Saxo was a fun car, but it stopped there :)
I hope its not your cambelt too. The engine will still turn if its snapped, but it wont start. Especially if its a MK1 and hasnt had any garage work - has it never had a cambelt then?
Chris - if youre getting the conversion soon - look on ebay for a damaged Williamss - sell off the other bits and probably make your money back :) Theres one on there at the moment...
Normal Haynes! Unless you dont actually want to do anything useful to the clio apart from stick plastic bits and neons to it - in which case get the Max Power one :D lol
Cant see why something operated from GPS would stop working on the back of a transporter?
172loony - renault fit the tracker with lifetime subscription thrown in so no extra cost. Like I said, its all piece of mind. I wouldnt pay for it for my Williams, but the Astra is one of a...
Definately worth it, for piece of mind more than anything else! I suppose it depends on the area you live. We have one on our Astra - its not a bad area really, but it does attract the complete wrong attention so its nice to know if it ever moves well know about it within a couple of minutes...
I hope it is the switches, but I really cant see it if both sides stopped working at the same time.
Like I said above, the regulators are side specific, but not the phase (the windows are the same size arent they ;)).
If you have to, its not difficult to replace the regulator. Post again...
It will be the motor, mine went when i first picked the car up. Renault charge £150 for a new regulator, but I got mine from a scrappy - £35, and fitted it myself.
N/S is cheaper to buy than the offside and more readily available, because the offside has the automatic bit on it that alows you...
Mine is broken. Well, it never goes over 3k. I have had to dash out and messed with the dials, they move very freely. The car itself is fine, running it on a rolling road gives correct rev readings... so just wondered where the counter gets its reading from?
Anyone?
Thanks
Someone on here had a reply from Speedline about the colour - I saved the message but its on my pc at home.
Its an Akzo Nobel paint, the number escapes me, so if no-one replies or you cant find it using the search facility Ill look it up tonight for you :)
