I would leave the Gardai out of it for the moment. Number one, they don't give a shite, and number two they just might want you to register the car in the Republic and you don't want to do that.
Hmmm, my Ragnotti was dead even with a certain V6, both in roll on acceleration, and top speed. Tested on the Autobahn. I was amazed...
A certain Renault UK employee will vouch for this. I only wish he had tole me that a couple of the ignition leads had come loose...
The V6 is a great...
I was prepared to hate the 197 after owning the Wiliams and Ragnotti.
It is just too big an heavy for my liking. But after driving the 197 in anger, I must say that is just blows the older cars away!
Now for a Ragnotti version...
I let a very successful pro race driver do a lap in our car yesterday and he was really impressed. He actually got down on the ground and loked under the back to try and figure out why it handled so well.
We absolutely murdered a couple Golf MK5 GTIs with it, both driven by pros.
I honesly didn't think I would like the car because it is just so bulky looking.
I loved my Williams, and thought the Ragnotti almost too big, and now this...
But damn, it sure manages to move, and is a very rewarding car to drive.
Can't wait to try one of the Clio Cup race cars out...
Did my fist lap with the Renault Sport Clio 197.
I'm impressed. Bit of a kill story actually. Was chasing a new VW GTI with a professional at the wheel.
I must admit to having a bit of a home course advantage, and I didn't get by until he had a bit of a moment, but what a ball!
I let...
Correct, and Theo is a decent lad, but he limits the cars to ten laps at that price, and our cars are unlimited.
Another point worth considering is that RSRNürburg are the only company authorised to provide instruction during Touristenfahrt.

Try Luxembourg. Fags, Booze and Petrol are all cheaper there.
I knew a fellow who sold to the smugglers. Busloads of pensioners and unemployed would come from the UK to load up at his shop.
Eurotabac was the name of it I think, but you can do pretty well in any petrol station just...
Just thought I would let you know that there is a 197 in the hire fleet at the 'ring now.
RSR offer a 197 as well as a V6 and Megane, and Rent-Racecar offer a Megane as well.
So if a bunch of you are coming over and need extra cars, you can still have fun in a fast Renault!
Was there Sat, Sun, and Mon. Busy instructing with a group of British army lads and lasses.
Missed you. Come say hello next time. I can usually be found in or around the Alfa 75s.
I had far better results with the DS 3000 pads. I found the DS 2500s wore quickly and tended to shed the friction material entirely when they got a bit thin.
I always found that annoying. Cruising along with that little light telling me to shift up.
Someone told me to shift into R for race at that point, but I never dared.
Was chatting with a few lads who had clubbed together to buy a Cup for a 'ring trip. The car had a 'ring sticker on it and one of the lads said of course they would have to scrape it off before they flogged the car on.
Well they went out and rolled it into a ball at Wippermann.
About the...
I seem to recall a ClioSport member making it as far the chicane a few years ago on the Easter weekend.
Hello everyone. I haven't been around here much lately, but can still be found on my favourite bit of Eifel tarmac.
Another thing to check is the bolts on the intake manifold. Not sue what they are called, not the ones that bolt it to the head but a bun near the top. Som of mine were sheared, had to be drilled out etc. No problem under warranty.
My cat broke as well same thing warranty job. No...
No such thing as too old for a 182. Loved my Ragnotti and I was an old fart when I bought it. I know one or two other old farts who are running about in 182s. Great car.
