Hi lads and lasses. Ive been offline for a while and just stumbled across this thread. The Ragnotti and Willy are both easily capable of circa 8:45 on regular tyres, and would naturally be a bit quicker with R compound tyres. I didnt experiment with tyres, tuning, or suspension settings on my...

They drove a Liquid Yellow car. It will be a sad day when it goes. Whatever your views on the V6 are, Renault had the balls to make it. Fiesta RS/new Focus RS anyone ?
Now if they would have the balls to build us a nice S1600...

Jon,
The next 10 seconds get a bit harder. Then the next ten that much harder still. It can be done with a box stock Ragnotti on factory rubber so I would think the 182 should have no problem. Just throw some DS2500 pads in the front.
What Dave says about being a gear higher is true...

I hope the guy is going to be alright, they seemed to think he would make it.
The good news is that the driver is making a full recovery. He has one broken neck vertebra but will be back to normal in 6-8 weeks.
That accident really...

well a 300bhp e30 m3 evo has trouble with a 182 on the ring....
A 330HP E30 M3 would beat the Clio by a lot at the ring. Tne standard trim 200-215HP ones are a good match.
Sold my crashed Ragnotti in one day. Of course there were only 300 of them built. I was very lucky because the buyer was the only one who called on my advert!

Telephone them. Id give you the number now, but it is in the other car down at the train station.
It should be easy enough to find in an online directory. Alpine Renault in Dieppe.
Ed
CupCake, what was the final bill on yours?
Surprisingly enough, it appears that the RenaultSport competition bits are cheaper than their civilian counterparts.
Ed
Bit worse than it looked initially. Probably in excess of €5,000!
Hope to go with RenaultSport competition parts for the rebuild though.
Front subframe, anti roll bar, steering rack, axle, A arm, wing, bumper etc. are cooked.
Ed
Ive been lucky enough to only roll twice with caged cars. Only once without.
Both cars had bolt in cages, and there were no problems. As long as the mounting points are properly reinforced, and proper grade bolts are used, a bolt-in cage is just as effective as a welded in one, provided the...
No injuries, thankfully. Just a little love tap. Posted photographs in the media section.
The road was quite slippy, and I was able to slide about in rubber soled shoes.

Slippy bit of road on the way to the train station caught her out.
Looks like A arm, ball joint, halfshaft bits, wing and liner bit...
Easy hit against an embankment. Hope to have it back together for the weekend!
Ed
The Renault Sport cage is made by Matter. They appear only to offer weld in versions, but you might check to be sure.
77 11 129 503 is €785,51 in last years catalogue.
