2001 CLIO 172 Phase 1. Black, 96k Miles, Cambelt done 2000 miles ago, Completely Standard Car. In pretty good condition for Age & Miles. Full history and original OZ Wheels.
Does anyone have a part number for inner tie rods for a Clio 197 or know correct length?
It’s -robably a part from Laguna or a Megne etc but can’t identify which is correct?
Have tried 3x different motor factors now and all supplied have been incorrect length and all different.

Bought timing tool set off the bay to do cam let change on Ph1 172. Engine no rusted away and not on log book. Camshaft locking Tool doesn't fit and apparently according to seller kit fits F4R 730 and 732 but not F4R 736. On this basis I assume I have a F4R 736...
I use the Meguiars Gold Class shampoo and comparing to other specialist products available it is excellent value for £££!! Cleaning power is good or better than other leading brands I have tried IMHO.
Problems and problems for mot prep.
Fabricated an exhaust hangar- it's not going anywhere now!!
Thought washer bottle was blocked with dirt- whole thing had to come out as motor was spinning but not squirting fluid!! Trip to motor factors!!
Replace all 4 pads and discs - front sliders...
@MicKPM this car is still not going. Have changed engine bay wiring loom and uch / key already.
What would you suggest? Can't get earth at immobiliser ring. Hasn't been fault read. No one wants to touch it / seems capable locally in NI.
Have you any magic tips? Happy to pay you for advice if...
Have a fault with my car. Looking at buying a CLIP system from eBay for diagnosis.
There appears to be several choices of versions, uk and non uk based sellers, ones which need crack codes etc - bit of a mine field really!!
Any advice / experience on what I should go for?
That seems to be the problem. Plenty of people willing to hook up for £50 but no specialists by any means. Would be a waste.
Anyone you know of in Northern Ireland worth contacting? If I bought CLIP would it do the job?

Have the dreaded Flashing immobiliser light. Light flashes fast at ignition on. Car just turns over.
Tried new uch, ecu and key etc but no change. Hate replacing parts without knowing actual problem.
Think it may be in the wiring but can't find information I need to...

Have a 172 ph1 which will not start. Tried the obvious things but they all seem ok.
Any one in Northern Ireland with CLIP who would like to take a look at it?
Need some more information to assist with diagnosis.

Spade connectors removed easily as above picture.
There are wires on the other side if this unit stopping me from removing the unit from the car.

Tried this but didn't want to use too much force incase I was wrong.
Are they on spade type connectors? Need to be able to put them back in after without damage.,
Trying to remove my uch to replace the unit.
Have it it dropped down from dash but there doesn't seem to be an obvious way to remove the unit from the wires attached. Am I missing something?
Any advice from someone who has done this before ? Video / pics anywhere?

How do I remove the wires? Have relays pulled and it doesn't seem obvious how to release wires.
