obviously its the viper all the way but the panel filter costs 1/10 of what the viper does, anyone got any strong reasons why i wuld want the viper? on my old clio i had a panel filter, a hole cut in the front of the o/e airbox with a piece of ducting leading to the side of the radiator, surely...
ok, done some research, the team dynamics stuff is on back order for at least 3 months and even that aint guarenteed, plus they only do it in a 15", so im probably looking at superLs. whats this about phase 1s though? are they light? ie as light as super ls?
checked out the FWD conversion, done with a company called VTS, they do a conversion for 500 quid, its meant to be a cheaper alternative to getting the transfer box fixed/replaced. car looks and sounds good, its somat different..........and rockport, it aiont my black 16v, sold that a while ago...
been offered a part ex on my valver with a k-plate calibra turbo thats had a FWD conversion. what do you reckon to this guys? anyone know anything about calibras?
some lad selling full brand new mongoose exhausts for a willy delivered for 265 in the for sale section. had one of these on my old valver, real good systems and thats a real good price. iotherwise the Top Gear quote is also v good. mongoose price is FULL system though
calipers will have been touching, thats why the car needs spacers im guessing, its running standard wheels and bolts i think, t=not a very stroing set up then?
if a car has 8mm spacers on the front to clear a big brake conversion, what possible problems does this have? heard a lot of bad thuings about wheel spacers!
with ap-22 set up in conjunction with york timing gear (ie when york said i ran a 14.5, so did the ap-22) it showed 0-60 in and around 6.2 for my old car, adi was managing almost flat 6s iirc.
i had one fitted, TBH you dont really notice a MASSIVE difference, i had a filter, exhaust de-cat combo though. compared to my mates standard 16v at the time mine was quicker, by a fair bit. The chip will NOT bring the power band in any earlier
