Cups dont have a reflective screen mate, so you will be ok. Go for a Road Angel 2 if you can afford one!

To 90 my Boxster and 172 are even. Its after that speed its more about drad Cds v BHP. The Carrera pulls like a train to 150 ( on the track obviously)

I spoke to Black Spot (who make the Road Angel 2) today. They told me that the GPS signal cant pass through the 172’s heat reflecting front screen so you need the aerial. But the Speed gun laser signal can pass through!!!

I have the aerial so I get a constant GPS readout. But will the laser work through the 172 front screen.

My wipers sit very high, thus blocking the line of sight of a laser!

Will the front laser detection work through the heat reflective windscreen or do I have to mount the unit looking through the clear section at the bottom of the screen? Thanks Danny

I have a last of the line 172, registered Mar 04. £9999 brand new from a car supermarket. Its full uk spec apart from the etching, wheel nuts and alarm. I got the AA cover included, and paid an extra £250 for a cat 1 alarm. A Bargain or what? No Renault mag though?
