how are you meant to get the inlet/head gasket on?

Is it meant to be such a pain in the ass to get out? the bolts are in the most akward places and then i ended up sliding it out to the right to get it out, is that correct? just about to refit in a bit so not looking forward to that at all!

They are all under the headliner mate, take of the strip along the inside of the sunroof and you should see about 40 million torx screws lol about 13 ish

Just came out of the blue earlier, fine when theres no acceleration but anything on the pedal and i heard a knocking and the steering wheel started going from side to side (juddering) i turned right to do a U turn and the problem was gone after that, any thoughts?

New stalk id imagine mate, if you take it out you will probly see the wee white part that sticks out for the wheel to click off has worn down or broken. Worst case scenario could be the part of the steering wheel thats broken. Id try a new stalk and see how that goes, shouldnt be much from ebay...

the rear light and side lights i would imagine are a defo and yeah a friendly mot tester wouldnt have a problem with you swapping the number plate over, as long as the spacing looks ok id say it should pass

Get the inlets matched mate and you should see a bit more. Remap should set you back a couple of hundred i would imagine

there are 2 i think tiny torx screws holding the stalk in place
