Good job trev, and when you were saying about the boats being lower than mine..... you obviously weren't talking about your boat :rasp: The drive to spelga was decent craic, as was mine home.... record time and literally at one point I think I may have got some air
Well it's off enough that its munching through the tyres like theres no tomorrow, with the car being so low they couldn't fit me in earlier so i said I'd just correct is as much as I could myself untill I can leave it with them for a few hours.
Thats what I presumed, but does it need done on the ground or with the car lifted? Am I right is saying I just loosen the nut on the TRE and pull, push accordingly?then tighten back up again
Does anyone know how to adjust toe on the 1*2s?? Thought I was running positive camber but after a quick check I think it might just be too much toe-in
Cheers
Has anyone used a magnetic camber gauge before? Looking at the Sealey ones priced around the £40 mark and thinking it might be handy enough to have instead of paying out everytime the car goes up or down.
Check the brake fluid for the abs light mate, flickers sometimes when its low. Not sure what you could do about the steering wheel, might be a steering rack number if it really annoys you. K-tec are cheaper than the dealers for the mounts but im sure theres others you can get from motor factors...
Nightmare mate, if the worst comes and its written off, i'd say you could definately get a better quote on the dci rs megane from the likes of greenlight
Agreed you will need 20/25mm spacers on the front to fill the gap. JEEBERS thats extra high on the front!!! It's lower in the before pics, what happened?
Quicky question,
The inner cv boot on the offside driveshaft (the middle boot between the gearbox and brake side boot) has split a bit and chucking grease all over the show, is this a driveshaft out job and replacing the gaiter or a whole other driveshaft number?
Cheers
